A few tens of millions, at the high end for a manufactured group but not the hundreds of millions the top rock bands have made. They’re allegedly doing some more concerts next year, which is usually a sign they need more money!

Ditto with Horny, he’s a salaryman albeit a very well paid one - someone suggested £7m/year when the scandal started last year - which he needs to be to keep his wife in dresses, handbags, and private planes.
Yes im sure shes not cheap to keep, dont forget the horses, they arent free
No way to talk about their kids.

I’d guess it’s publicity and a high profile she values?!

Mr Horny would make an excellent politician if he gave up on running an F1 team.

I’ve always said that the best way to get more women into motorsport, which starts with getting more girls into karting, is to ban horses!

It’s an interesting theory that the tribunal is now set to happen, and RB have likely been advised by their own counsel that it’s likely to be a slam dunk in favour of the complainant - which would mean no NDA and she’s free to sell her story to the Mail on Sunday.

As I understood it, the date has been set for a while, January next year, but red Bull have put a gag order on the UK press so they cannot report it.

Now, why would you need to do that if you are innocent...

Well I would 110% support a permanent gag on DM...

Gotta be honest, if I (or the employer in this instance) had the money i'd want the gag order in place too - innocent or otherwise, i'd like to keep the media out of it, if it were possible.

Arguably even more so if I were Horner or his employer, as a big part of his job is to keep Red Bull, as a brand, in the media. The brand is in F1 for the marketing aspect, which is why Horny takes any opportunity to give an interview or controversial opinion. That crucial part of his job is somewhat compromised if the media want to talk more about his marriage and dirty habits than the racing team!

I think ste newspapers such as that should have to pay a fine each time they print a retraction/correction, which the DM do endlessly. The fine can be halved if the retraction is printed on the same page number in the same size font as the original BS story they are retracting smile

If they sell an extra 300,000 newspapers with a fake headline one week, it's not really enough to correct their BS the following week with a footnote on page 73...

Max wasnt always right. But he was right on the S&M thing and the response he launched against the stupid press in this country.

No laws were broken (consenting adults) and his role as FIA president wasn't affected by his own sex life. So there's no real interest requirement from our stty media.

Had he been taking bribes from car manufacturers, fair game, but otherwise its just the usual hypocrisy. The tabloids make fortunes titillating the sex lives of others for no reason. Yet claim moral indignation when called out on it.

Lets imagine if the tribunal finds against Redbull how this might play out. The knives will be out for Horner even more than now, remember he was supposed to be sacked after Monza so he might get sacked.

So Ferrari and the Italian press will have no issue with signing Horner, if he is available, as he has proved he knows how to build and run a team to multiple success.

F1 will not have an issue as they have let unsavoury people far worse than Horner back in to the fold.

So again imagine, Ferrari sign him and just as Max's contract is ending how much would they love that scenario if they could get both of them.

Nothing would surprise me with the circus F1 now is
