How can 47% of us think Hamilton will win?! He'll need at least 2 Red Bulls to break down first I think.
I don't think anyone *really* thinks he can win, just that it would be great if he did.Arguably for the show having max drop out for any reason and Lewis to take the win in Brazil and then Max to get the most win percentage in abu dhabi with a win there would be perfect scripting.
I don't really think he'll win, just that he might and I'd be delighted to see him maintain his win in every season record.

I’m no great fan of Hamilton, but even I agree a bit of variety would be welcome
There’s been only seven drivers on the podium this year, which equals the all-time record low. The six obvious ones, and Norris in Imola.

To be fair, the midfield teams have never been closer to each other, it’s just that there’s a clear gap from the top three teams to the rest, in an environment where cars are more reliable than ever and where the authorities have an aversion to rain.
Hopefully, the wind tunnel restrictions will serve over time to close up the field, but that will take a few years.

Some light rain would work nicely.
Yes, Max is rubbish in the wet. That said, Brazil often gives us good racing regardless of weather and I love these races on that the American side of the pond as the timing is just great for me on a Sunday evening. Looking forward to this one and clinging onto some thin hope of a Merc win.

I think Lewis has a chance, I always think Lewis has a chance. Texas was a prime example. Yes it needs some degree of external influence as it won’t happen on speed alone but if I wanted a performance from any given driver on the grid, to extract absolutely 100% from the car, I’d pick the man from Stevenage.
This. Most sites seemingly in the know are predicting the best weather on Friday with higher chances of rain on Saturday and Sunday from mid morning onwards.
This makes it quite interesting as I assume teams can’t run a full wet weather set up on Friday and get reliable data if it’s not actually raining so they may be going into a wet sprint race based on a dry qualifying session on the Friday.

Very good point that. The jeopardy of a potentially wet sprint race would be spicy indeed. Yep, disappointing.

A good point about the rain - it has enabled great drivers in not so great cars to display their talents plenty of times in the past. The treatment of rain in the last few seasons has been very frustrating. No one wants to see accidents, but it denies the braver drivers a chance to shine in the wet.To be fair, the midfield teams have never been closer to each other, it’s just that there’s a clear gap from the top three teams to the rest, in an environment where cars are more reliable than ever and where the authorities have an aversion to rain.

People just want to see an honest win I think as it's been a while. With a bit of luck we won't have to here Horners winging, although I'm sure C4 will do there best to put RB's side again and again...
