With the same diligence as they dealt with Abu Dhabi. No doubt Mercedes and Ferrari will be penalised 100 WCC points each for being on the same track

Perez has apologized for the things he said about Max after Brazil. I think we can all agree he went a little too far there…

biggrin Bloody right too! Three generations of the Verstappen family - and a pet gerbil - are in therapy as a result of the nasty Mexican!

Who is going to make a complaint on the basis it won’t change a thing? No one. Utterly useless FIA

Wow. just... Wow.

I hope he really meant it and wasn't just saying it though.

Amazing how this has somehow been turned around onto Perez.
I dont think Max is a horrible person that spends his time thinking of evil he can do ,but he does tend to disengage his brain now and again.
Anyway as usual with max the brain gears have ground round to the correct position, and he will now be some sort of wingman in this race
and look like a hero! A flawed one,but still.
This is about the general perspective about max not wether you are his fan and have his name carved into your forehead.

Antonio Perez, father of Perez on Verstappen:

“Sergio never needed anything from anyone. Today Max already feels the breath of the 'Checo' in his helmet, for what he is demonstrating. He never had a similar teammate. Checo wins the races that Max can't, the really hard ones”

Is it just me or does RB signing Dan ric as reserve driver look like they want to keep Perez on his best compliant behaviour?

It has been said. With Ric hopping from foot to foot in the background asking whether it is his turn yet, it would keep Perez under manners.

Verstappen was supposed to give Perez a tow but a problem with Verstappen's display meant he didn't leave the pits on time scratchchin

I don't think Perez will be worried unless Ric gets his mojo back and sets some good times.

That was my first thought when the radio call from Perez was asking - what happened? As in where is my tow? Max conjuring up a last minute issue to ruin the team mate friendly tow lap!

He made it all good for the team on his podium interview - yes we will help Perez clinch 2nd it’s all about the team blah blah - less than a week since Brazil and now everything is fine now lol.

Perez got a tow on the second Q3 laps.

"Yeah, it certainly did [help]," Perez said of the tow from Verstappen. "I think we worked really well as a team today.

"And I could feel [the effect] – especially sector two it was working. What you gain you lose a bit in sector three, but generally I think certainly it was a positive thing."
