Lewis seems very relaxed with his own abilities, as well he should. The idea that various senior team members and engineers repeatedly lied about this seems unlikely.

Russell vs Hamilton - Russell needs to best Hamilton again in 2023, and silence the doubters who are attributing the result to circumstantial fortune, and Russell doing less heavy lifting in the car development (which is nonsense in my opinion)
Do you have more information about this than team personnel at Mercedes then?

No, and neither do I have any affiliations to any team(s) that might require me to project a prescribed and scripted PR messaging.

Do you take every press conference message from all teams as unbiased gospel fact?? Not a great move in any sport, let alone F1.
You got any other explanation for why, when MB stopped developing the car mid-season, all of a sudden LH is out-qualifying GR at nearly every race? Also finishing ahead 3 times more than GR when both finished the race? The MB released statement makes sense to me in my opinion.
There ya go! Highlighted in bold in my statement, and included the same caveat into yours
On the balance of probabilities on the evidence available, I am more likely to be correct than you. My opinion is supported by evidence, yours is not.
