Angela Cullen and Lewis go their separate ways
Discussion
Angela has her own family and growing children yet she spends most of her life away from them, basically living with Lewis - if Lewis sleeps in his trailer at the track, she's in there with him, it's the most full time job imaginable.
Obviously it's worked for them both from a professional pov but there comes a point at which the woman probably wants to actually live with her own family!
And for the conspiracy theorists... maybe he's told her he will announce his retirement at the end of this season so she should probably find alternative employment ahead of then... I know that's what you'll be thinking

So was it photoshopped or not?
Difficult to tell - if it is, it’s a really good one…You don't need to zoom in to tell it was photoshopped, it is bloody obvious from looking at it.
Although in fairness, my wife preparing for a week away packs about that much stuff.

Indeed so. For anyone around F1, it’s a constant job of travel and being away from home. In the pandemic season of 2020, Angela didn’t see her own family for months, as she was living with Lewis and his manager in the driver’s trailer. Even in a normal season, she’s with him all the time, wherever he goes between races as well as at the track. Obviously it's worked for them both from a professional pov but there comes a point at which the woman probably wants to actually live with her own family!

Eventually one decides that the money (a rumoured £250k) isn’t worth the disruption to life that comes with being a personal trainer to an F1 driver. She’s older than most people think she is, close to 50, and has probably saved up enough to pay off her mortgage and send her kids to college. Best of luck to her in the future, whatever she decides to do.

That tallies with LH's IG post so why is Toto wading in suggesting that he sacked her?Anyone else notice Toto has been a bit.... odd this season?
His comments will likely antagonise Lewis as people will use it as an excuse to st on him.
My wild conspiracy theory is that when combined with Toto's comments yesterday about Lewis looking for another team is that he's trying to encourage Lewis out the door, or he already knows that Lewis himself has decided that.

I get the feeling that Toto knows that Mercedes have lost it and will not get back to the sharp end anytime soon, I do wonder if Lewis will go to another team.Anyone else notice Toto has been a bit.... odd this season?

Whichever way we look at it this doesn’t look good. Had she given notice that she’ll be calling it quits at the end of the season, this season with a long farewell, we’d get it. But after one race and with immediate effect during a race weekend, it come across as a sacking. Sacking someone that has been there through the grid times and the bad, is not a great look, but then again LH doesn’t do loyalty - ask that German guy that stabbed someone with a glass (the name escapes me)Anyone else notice Toto has been a bit.... odd this season?

I’ve followed LH from his F1 days in 2007. As a person he doesn’t appear to do loyalty, perhaps apart from his dogs and his father as a father, but there are no ever present people, “friends” around him and he does appear to burn bridges. He’s 38 but doesn’t have a wife or long term gf, children, he comes across as a person that seems to be in constant flow. A great sportsman but otherwise lost.
Good luck to him but I fear he’ll struggle in the future when there’ll be less attention on him. I could be wrong of course.

That you had to even ask says a lot more about you than it does Lewis…… I’ll bet you only asked to use it as an opportunity to include that little dig. In your tiny mind, I guess you “won”…
There’s a lot of assumptions there, all of them are wrong.I sincerely apologise to you for not taking the time, whilst at work, to zoom in and eagerly study a photo on the internet.
In order to help save your feelings, I promise you that I have learnt from this experience, and next time a photo is posted on the internet, regardless of what else I might be doing, I’ll endeavour to look at the photo for more than two seconds, and zoom right in for an in-depth look at every single pixel.
Better?
Or would you rather keep on feeling angst about seemingly inconsequential things?
However, you have done me one favour. You’ve reminded me why I don’t bother posting in or reading this section of PH anymore.
