He's becoming a bit Ferrari - even if you're not a BOTTAS fan, you're a Bottas fan...

Post Mercedes Valtteri has been a thing to behold. A certain YouTuber is very accurate when referring to them as the Regime and Valtteri's departure has shown what a strangle hold that team had on him.

I liked early Valtteri at Williams, an old school friend's husband worked at Williams when he was there and said he was one of the nicest drivers, but very shy. The after Mercedes, japery to rival your Norris', Danny Ric's, but with the a unique Scandi-Antipodean twist.

His driver contract with Stake/Whistlepig certainly involved a few interesting advertisement tie-ins.

That song might get stuck in your head for a few days... or weeks

As an Aussie myself... well deserved. Great to see a bloke be himself rather than some dull as dishwater corporate advertisement
This for me - he's clearly having a whale of a time!

And unlike some other here I think he's always been a good driver and still has enough to support a new or developing team.

Sad that he's turned out to be yet another F1 driver who'd rather mill around the paddock and go on simulators all year rather than actually go and race a car.

I’m sure he’d rather be racing; but at least being in the paddock means you’re still the picture for future seats. Apparently he’s considered the front runner for Cadillac if they get their act together on their 2026 entry.

Mullet very much still there. It’s his bare arse on calendars that Toto has a bee in his bonnet about. Shame as it was always for a good cause.

Bottas is a fantastic driver, did a great job at Mercedes, I thought Russell acted dreadfully that day after he crashed into Valtteri showed a complete lack of class having run out of race craft in a straight line.

20 pole positions, 67 podiums and 10 wins is good record and puts him in the Webber/Coulthard camp as one of the best number 2 drivers.

Yes George is a terrible driver, unlike Bottas hehe

I get your point but... Objectively bottas is actually an amazingly accurate driver - he's a Finn, of course he is.

He's an awesome driver, just a terrible racer smile
