Cancelling the F1 academy race due to a bit of track maintenance is not a good look, makes the series look unimportant
They will cancel any support race to ensure the F1 race can start on time. They always have done.F1 Academy race has already been binned because of this accident.

Bearman is stuffed and Bortoleto is going to have to make up the inevitable penalty.
Bortoleto is the real deal imo and a clever driver. FourWheelDrift said:
5 time F2 Race winner Dennis Hauger is moving from F2 after 2 years to Indy NXT with Andretti Global, a step back to get a step up?
He's not good enough to get any further.Yes won f3 at first attempt but then 10th, 12th, 8th in F2 is not a good enough record.

They have now decided to add an extra race to the AD schedule this weekend. So, having crowned the new champion last weekend, they now have to uncrown her as it is now mathematically possible (if highly improbable) for her to be overtaken again.thegreenhell said:

https://www.planetf1.com/news/abbi-pulling-strippe...3 races in Abu Dhabi is a lot to fit in, it could go out of the window again if there's crash damage to the barriers in another race like the Porsche at Qatar. 83 points ahead with 84 to play for though, it would have to be a monumentally bad weekend to lose the championship in Abu Dhabi.
