It seems not beyond the bounds of possibility that Verstappen, Hamilton and Alonso could all leave F1 at the end of this year.
Imagine a Le Mans 24hr with those three as the drivers for a team
Ford, Ferrari and Aston all have teams….

I really hope he does well, enjoys himself, and makes GT3 racing his full time job.

Watching last season’s Los Vegas GP, there was a point where the cars were all oversteering in the wet. At the time I was thinking it shows even the most mediocre F1 driver is insanely skilled.
We mock Stroll, but there’s no reason to believe he won’t be among the front runners in GT3.

GT3 would probably suit him better, he tends to do well in low grip conditions, so likely decent enough on pace.

Racecraft though, he'll likely get beaten up.

Yes, he should be.

Should certainly be better than a driver making the switch the other way round!

Meanwhile at Red Bull, and not yet official, Ole Schack, Verstappen's 'number two' mechanic, is leaving the team. He's been there since it was Jaguar.

That feels like a very 'slow news' month story and we're barely into ir.

It's about due if he's been there since Jag days isn't it!?

Breaking news: man leaves a job.

"It is understood he is keen to pursue a fresh opportunity, with suggestions that shifts in the team's internal environment have influenced his decision.

Those changes come amid a broader period of transition within Red Bull."

It's the loss of another experienced person

I read that Verstappen's long standing race engineer Giampiero Lambiase will be joining McLaren next year. Various roles are being suggested including Team Principle.

Soooo...
The FIA have implemented a 'few tweaks' for the Miami GP.
A see how it goes scenario... they will probably still be tweaking up to the last race.
Hopefully by then the regulations will be finalised & most of the drivers, & us, will be happy(ier).

This will run until at least 2028, with tweaking all the way.

They can't fix it without a big change.
My bet is MGU-H returns.
