Yeah, I agree. I thought George might have the talent to compete with anyone, Max included, but if Kimi keeps this up that’s looking far less likely.

I think fortunes will turn around for Gorgeous George, I dont think Kimi has the maturity to hold together a championship, I feel the pressure will get to him and that's where Mr 'consistent' Russell takes over. And with a few victories over kimi, gains momentum and storms off ahead with the title.

More than happy to be proved wrong, I think this season there are alot of possibilities for a title winner. Aston Martin not included...

Let’s hope that forecast leads to the race start time being brought forwards, Miami-style. Some of us have self-closing eyelids which can’t easily be reprogrammed to stay open past 10pm!

It’s very unlikely they’ll bring it forward. It’s already been pushed back two hours to try and avoid a direct clash with the Indy 500.

Australia last year and Miami this year actually had the start time changed by rain, and there have been a few delayed qualifying sessions (Brazil a couple of years ago on Sunday?), but it must be every two or three weekends that weather gets mentioned in these threads.

IMHO it s quite the mess-up in the calendar. It wouldn t be a surprise if they push the start a few minutes more on the day, if the 500 is still running at the scheduled time.

I ll have two TVs set up, if I haven t given up and gone to bed.

Edit: I just found out I have the day off work on Monday, so it’s going to be an early morning finish with a beer or six.

Plumped for Russell. Think that the Merc has the edge when in a straight line and he tends to go pretty well here.

Lando, Piastri and Kimi to fight for the other podium positions.

Think the signs of RBR are probably a bit premature at this point so just getting both cars ahead of the Alpines and maybe Max amongst the Ferrari's would be a good building block.
