If you are thinking about going to monaco for the F1 give your head a wobble and go for the classic, you can thank me later.
Definitely this. We stayed in Menton, less than 10 mins from train station to Monaco, everything around the circuit is accessed from the station.Fridays are free for Practice

With the cars being a couple of inches shorter and narrower this year, I'm expecting non-stop overtakes!
I think George has this, but a multway fight behind for 2nd and 3rd between the Mclarens, Ferrari's and Red Bull.
George record at Monaco is not that good, he'll need to step up his performance significantly to get pole.

Lewis record isn't as good as you'd expect either.
Practice will give us a clue about which car is likely on pole, if it's Mercedes I wouldn't bet against Kimi. If it's Ferrari I would expect Charles to be quickest.
Slow speed corners, something Ferrari have done well so far. Charles likes Monaco, drives well here, but will he overdrive with Lewis's current form. Either way, could be a Ferrari 1-2. I'm optimistically hoping so as I think it's their best chance for a win this season

All cars (except AMR for their own reasons) are effectively equal on power here, thanks to the rule tweaks the FIA have introduced regards power deployment rates and lap total in for Monaco. Will it be a wet race...remembering Ferrari screwing up 2022 here

So... the most significant thing that can offset each cars performance is slow/med cornering ability, and Ferrari have the best car for that I think. On that basis it should be theirs to lose. And don't worry, Ferrari very rarely fail to make the most of a gifted opportunity

CLC Will be in mix for pole and the win as long as he keeps it out of the barriers Will it be a wet race...remembering Ferrari screwing up 2022 here

Sadly I think he will bin it.. I expect Lewis will be on the pace (well, for a Ferrari) and that will upset Charles (as we saw in Canada his approach was hit the wall or 8th)... He will hit his normal S3 barrier.... Im hoping for a Lewis win here, he seems the more mentally stable of the Ferrari drivers, experience counts, and it looks like the Ferrari is good in the turns. Charles, while good, seems to be lacking somehow.
Having said that, Max is always in the fight.
Qualy should be interesting, and will most likely decide the race.

I reckon anyone that is close to anyone else in Q3 has a tough call to make. They can all push and go a little faster to jump a place but these cars, on this circuit... Their best opportunity to lap faster is to deploy as much torque as they dare on corner exits, but that's a lot of torque and these cars are relatively twitchy too.I think it's going to be a dramatic session, to say the least.

Who did you book through? I'm close to booking but at £4k pp I've held off for a moment.
looked at ticket prices and they were only €150 full weekend 2026, past that it's all travel and accommodation https://acm.mc/en/epreuves/grand-prix-de-monaco-hi...
I have an idea for the Monaco 'race'.
Run it as a sprint race.
4 cars on track at a time, therefore 6 sessions. Qualifying determines start order. Limited number of cars means no overtaking required.
Using the pole position grid slot only, with 15 seconds between car start times. Standing start 5 laps, fastest time for all 5 laps wins.
Have 10-15 minutes between each session and the event would last about 90 minutes. 5 laps of going flat out, what's not to like?
