Dunlop Sunday Service 24/11: Beaulieu

Dunlop and Beaulieu play host to the penultimate PH Sunday Service of 2013

To celebrate 125 years of tyres, Dunlop is offering PHers the chance to celebrate its 125th birthday at a very special PistonHeads Sunday Service.

Taking place at the famous Beaulieu National Motor Museum in Hampshire on Sunday 24 November, the Dunlop Sunday Service will host up to 400 PHers within the grounds of the Beaulieu complex.

Dunlop has chosen Beaulieu as the venue to host this Sunday Service as it feels it is the perfect place to celebrate 125 years of tyres and a long history in motorsport.

The complex is home to a stunning collection of vehicles detailing the history of motoring and motorsport through modern rally cars to F1 machines. This year the museum hosts Bond In Motion, which showcases the world's largest official collection of original James Bond vehicles. There's also the 'World of Top Gear', featuring vehicles from some of the show's most ambitious challenges. All this is within the beautiful surroundings of Palace House & Gardens and Beaulieu Abbey.

At the event, there will be your opportunity to enjoy a specially assembled Dunlop enclosure and enjoy a cuppa at Cafe Dunlop.

Courtesy of Dunlop, you'll get free entry to all of the attractions at Beaulieu and the Dunlop experience.

Places are limited to 200 cars with each car being allocated two free entry tickets. Additional passengers will need to be paid for at the venue.

The offer is on a first come, first served basis and to register all you need to do is sign up on the calendar and hope you are within the first 200 to apply. Usual Sunday Service rules apply with an 09.00AM start time.

PH would like to thank all at Dunlop for their amazing generosity.

Free entrance to Beaulieu?! Wow! That's a lot of money for 200 cars at £18.90 per person!

Just don't give me any credit! It's what we did on the trip down to Beaulieu earlier in the year. Just sounded like a good idea, but I'll definitely be there. Probably we should get someone with something more impressive than a Colt to lead it though! biggrin

Goddamnit, a sunday service in my neck of the woods and my bloody engine in the URQ is still in bits. Gah, wouldn't feel quite the same turning up in a yellow octy vrs estate!

Oh, by the way, since it comes up an awful lot about stickers, I have two large and one small one left over from when I applied my kit, so if anyone wants to grab one at Lyndhurst before we go down, I'd be happy to give them away for free/for a jammy dodger or two (best biscuit bid wins).

And just after my promises, I hit a lorry tyre on the M4, and rip off the underside of the Colt. frown For the forseeable future I'm out. But to the guy in the Jag, if I can get down there somehow by hitchiking or the like, I'll gladly do sticky things to your wife's Jagbutt.

Hi and welcome.
You should receive an "e ticket" type thing a few days before the meet and you will get reminded by Email aswell.
