Sunday Service 15/12: Goodwood
Join us at Goodwood Motor Circuit for the last PHSS of the year
While we might take a well-earned break in January ‘14 we would like to end 2013 in fine style and invite you to join us at Goodwood Motor Circuit on the 15th December for the final Sunday Service of the year. It’s a big event too with spaces for 750 cars; yes, that’s seven hundred and fifty. Blimey.
The usual Sunday Service rules apply:
- Free to attend
- Parking spaces offered on a first come, first served basis
- Event opens at 09.00 and closes at 13.00
- Breakfast available (not free!)
- Do as the parking marshals tell you, they know the drill
We’ll be parking on the main straight and paddock, as per the Breakfast Club meets, but please be aware of the strict 15mph speed limit on site and that Goodwood request sensible driving as you approach and depart the venue to appease local residents. These meets happen with the blessing of locals, you don’t want to be the driver responsible for the cancellation of future meets at Goodwood. Take it easy please!
To sign up for a space please add your name here.
Thanks to Goodwood for having us and we hope to see you on the day to sign off 2013 in style.
Just a suggestion for future...why not ask each attendee to throw a fiver in a bucket and all the proceeds go to a different charity at each SS? Just a thought, as I get a lot of enjoyment out of these meetings and it doesn't feel right not to be giving something in return.
Or is that just me?

Maybe donate it to the Lord Charles March's favourite charity given he is so generous towards other petrol-heads.
As far as collecting it no doubt the nominated charity would put in a few volunteers or some of us PH'ers (with appropriate identity)?
What do you think Mr Garlick?
Cheers, Pewe.
