I've just had an email from Morgan and they have asked me to post the below:

"Steve Morris - Managing Director of the Morgan Motor Company would like to thank PistonHeads and all that attended the Sunday Service at the factory for a fantastic day, it exceeded all our expectations.
The kindness, generosity, and enthusiasm of everyone that joined us was most welcome by the Morgan team, the positive feedback following the event has been completely overwhelming.
Passenger rides and donations to the Marfan Trust raised funds of £1,135 for which we are extremely grateful, thank you"

They took a couple of pics which you can find on their Facebook page too: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.77536368...

Great Sunday Service - First one I have been to and hopefully not the last. Only being 4 miles from our house made it a relaxed start and we had to take an extended route home as it was a lovely day for a roof-down drive.

Really impressed with the organisation and the efforts put in by the Morgan staff. My wife had a ride in a Roadster that was enthusiastically driven by the head of design and she had a good chat with him.

It is very useful extra space they now have since taking over what was the Civil Service Sports Club and its playing fields, giving them a visitor centre, musuem, and lots of space for parking. The site was quite compact before that.

People have posted some good photos online, but when trying to take pics of our TVR they seem to have cropped it incorrectly and accidentally included too much of the Porsche next to it...

Nice smile

The bar has been set pretty high - I hope other SS can get close!

The Morgan events lady was already planning the next SS. If that one comes off, it'll be epic.

They're certainly keen to have us back, I'll have to try and fit it into the calendar (which is already very full)

Great meet. Echo what everyone else has said. Factory tour was highlight for me. Well worth the long hoon up.

Did anyone get a photo of my Green Elise? Who was taking photos as the cars drove in, be keen to see what you got.

I had a great time at my first Sunday Service too! Many thanks to the PH team and of course to Morgan for putting on a brilliant event.

Eybic, I hope you shared the bourbons out too!

Sorry I didn't get to chat with anyone, I had my dad with me.

It's a strange occasion. When my Celica was the only one compared to 3 Boxster Spyders, 3 GT3's and 3 Gallardo! Silly, but it made me giggle .

Can't wait until next time

THANK YOU Pistonheads and Morgan for an amazing day!

Hearing the rumble of the bmw V8 of the Plus 8 gunning around the Malvern Hill is a moment I shall cherish forever.

Gonna start saving for my own Morgan 4/4 now...

Many thanks to PH and Morgan, absolutely fantastic morning.
Brought my 16 year daughter, she thought her jaunt out in a Plus 8
was just magic, as did I.
Great to have the tour, it was a delight to see and hear the passion for
their cars.
Hadn`t ever considered a Morgan previously......just need to do alot of saving

Good photos, someone even showing an interest in my C-Class Estate, or casing it.

Top day. The whole family loved it. Big thanks to all that help organise!!

Was hoping to see another Lexus IS-F, but sadly not.
Anyone get any photos of mine? I didn't think to take any!

Brilliant! Just brilliant!

I wish Morgan success for the future. - They are a refreshing tonic for us car enthusiasts on so many levels and it's fantastic to see them still thriving, making proper cars in 2014 when most mainstream manufacturers give us nothing but excuses as to why their performance models have been diluted further.

That was a simply superb SS (an SSSS? smile ), and I take my hat off to PH and Morgan for organising it. I thoroughly hope that this is the first of many services there!
yes I'm going to have to go and do the full tour at some point.

ChemicalChaos said:
There was a lovely mouthwatering variety of PHers cars to look at, the factory tour was incredibly interesting, and the highlight was my ride in the Plus 4 SuperSport. That was ridiculously rapid for a 2-litre engine and sounded far more fruity than a 4 cylinder normally does, too!
Did anyone else pick-up the leaflets re. renting them? That's one itch I'm going to scratch at some point...maybe drive down, pick up a nice 3.7 and go and enjoy the roads of South Wales. biggrin

PS. did anyone get a photo of my silver Discovery next to Clivey's Black one on the field? I forgot to take one... banghead
Me too! silly
