Nice pic Bean! Thanks for the run in, superb morning. From one charged golf to another and I love a nice pair of frenchies!

That's my G60 :-) I am pleased the weather was as good as it was. It doesn't come out in the wet. Yes I appreciated the x2 205 1.9s

Thanks to the PH team who turned out and to the Aston team who gave up their Sunday to allow us to drool over the cars on display - I also wasn't asked to provide my details but have a PH key ring to prove my attendance (and also unseasonally I asked for a sun umbrella for LM which I hope someone will take down to PH Bleu Nord to save postage & will happily pay cash on delivery)

The bottom photo was taken when I first spotted this Marcos Mantula earlier this month on the M40 (I'd never seen one before). The top two were taken when I was lucky enough to see it again today at the Aston Martin Sunday Service. This is why I love Piston Heads!

The black V12V in the 'executive' car park (from the above pics) - we were walking past behind it just when the owner gave it some revs.... my young lad very nearly needed a clean pair of under crackers laugh

Sounded superb.

My pics from today, enjoyed the day out.

Factory tour was a bit of a let down after Morgan and Ginetta, but still some interesting metal around.

Fantastic morning. Well done. Bit of a shame they didn't have the One 77 or Lagonda Wedge there.....

When I left I popped into the British Motor Museum. Well worth it.

Just another quick thank you to Pistonheads and Aston Martin for an enjoyable morning with plenty of interesting cars on display. I particularly appreciated Aston giving us access to the Vanquish Zagato styling buck - nice for us mere mortals to get a sense of the car even though the actual car was busy elsewhere.

To the owner of a black Aston Martin reg: CN07 CZM Check the front of your car - I witnessed an utter prick (in an AM convertible that was parked next to yours) reverse into your car and then drive off knowing full well he had hit it. There was a fairly loud crack - I think (hope) it was just the numberplate surround. This was around 11 am.

Probably so, the trip back I was more concerned with remembering to avoid the possible M1 closure as it almost killed my car in the morning (heater had to be on full blast to keep it cool in the queues).

Adding my thanks to the PH/AM staff. Especially the nice chap talking me and my brother through the intricacies of the little DB models. smile

My pics are here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/adamlstr/albums/7215...

I'll edit out the nasty lamp posts later. Thanks to 'Quinten' also for making my car a little less anonymous today.

Great photos adam. The Vulcan and GT8 ones are superb.

I've got to admit I was a bit disappointed this morning. I appreciate that Aston let us in and put the staff on to cover it but there wasn't exactly a lot to see was there. Sorry to sound like a moaner but I must have been spoilt by the Ginetta SS. The car park was the best bit for me and the 991 GT3 RS was for sure the star, stunning!

would be great to have a more formal way of arranging convoys for the Sunday Services.... after all 350 ppl going to the same place (even if from different parts of the country) should make this reasonably easy
