Almost all of them were of the later sessions (around 11:45 I think) as that's when TP went out in the caterham (orange and black one) - so sorry if I didn't catch your car! :P

My MR2 V6 sounding lovely - although weirdly the (presumably) 4 cylinder Fiesta / Westfield sounds exactly the same

Exactly! The getting hot must be the more likely scenario.

I've melted the centre caps on a set of front Team Dynamics on a trackday as well as the spigot rings on another set of wheels.

Yeah, that's the one. Most distinctive M3 I saw out on track. Very neat.
