Goodwood Sunday Service/track day 10-11 December

Track day slots still available and Sunday service has increased to 800 spaces!

You know what December means... No, not just wind, rain and overly-salted roads. It means that it is time for our annual pilgrimage to Goodwood and our final Sunday Service of the year! As usual, we'll also be running an exclusive track day for PHers on the Saturday so there is absolutely no excuse for winter blues in 2016.

Our track orientated events have been very popular this year, and we're sure this one will be no different. We might even say it's an early Christmas present for you and your car! So come along and go out with a bang (not literally, we hope) with us on Saturday December 10 at the historic circuit.

Following a great day on track, we'll be on site bright eyed and bushy tailed to welcome you to the Sunday morning. We know you shouldn't have favourites, but Goodwood might be our favourite Sunday Service; it always delivers with a great atmosphere and some stunning PH cars on show. Sign up here.

Further details below!

Saturday track day:
When:
Saturday December 10, 0900h-1600h
Where: Goodwood Motor Circuit, West Sussex
Cost: £200 per car including two drivers per vehicle
Spaces: 40
Noise limit: 98dB (static)
Details: Only 10 cars on track a time, ARDS instructor available for tuition
To book: Please ring the booking office on 01243 755055 to register your interest - we are having some problems with the link at the moment, so once that is fixed (in the next couple of days) you will get a call back from the booking office to confirm your place.

Sunday Service:
When:
Sunday December 11, 0830h-1200h
Where: Goodwood Motor Circuit, West Sussex
Cost: None, but we love biscuits, sweets, ale and Christmas treats
Spaces: 800
To book: sign up here

We'll be at Goodwood on both days with some PH Fleet cars - we look forward to seeing you there!

Hi All,

We're live on this nice and early so we get the best chance to get as many of you as we can there! However, please note on our end its saying 12 November when you hover over events tab... It is definitely not tomorrow so if you turn up at Goodwood in the morning, (as much as we'd like to be) we will not be there! hehe we're looking at fixing this ASAP.

Cheers!

Jack

Very tempted by the track day on the Saturday although slightly put off by the potential for bad weather. But a cracking price!!

Also an opportunity to pick up a new smilie. I've decided a black sticker on tinted glass is just slightly too stealthy.

Registered for the Saturday track day - hopefully the weather will play ball and the GTR is below the limit on the static test!!

Are they calling you back or did they actually let you book it?

Just FYI this is likely to be down to the IT issues that they're having at the moment - I think their booking system is down.

Where can I get db checked? I've found a report saying that the old version of my car is 81db at full throttle but that's with a normal exhaust and not the performance exhaust that is now standard.

They will check the db level at Goodwood, they use a hand held db meter in the pit area and hold the db meter about a meter away from the exhaust tips. They normally ask you what the car revs too and ask you to rev it to 3/4 of that.
I was down there last year for a Mission Motorsport charity track day and was not allowed on track (except for following a safety car at 30mph) due to noise rolleyes so took the wounded troops out for joy rides around the local roads instead biggrin Best bit was when they got out of the car and said to their mates "you gotta have a go in that" biggrin

You can get db meter apps for smart phones but I'm not sure how accurate they are?

You really need to get it checked before you bother going down there as I would not want to shed out £200 quid and then be told to bugger off!

I was in the area at the kennels that day so it's ou I probably heard around the roads!!

I think I'm probably way below the limit but I think we all know assumption is the mother of all fk ups. I doubt I'll make the list for this event but when I'm next at the circuit I'll see if they can check the car.

Hi Both,

Sorry, that was my mistake! I put it up as £175, assuming it was at that price, but it is in fact £200.

Apologies again!
