Not been to a PHSS for a while, is it still the case that motorbikes don't need to be on the list?
Ohhh... if it's nice weather I may take the ZX7 in that case :-)

Really looking forward to this one, just wish I'd still got my Impreza now.

I'm sure the guys at prodrive are sick to death of Subarus these days. And probably Aston martins too!

Number 544 on the list, sadly I don't think that's likely but stranger things have happened...

In short, we don't count motorbikes on the list as there is usually a separate parking area for them at venues... But having said this the other reason that we've always allowed them is that we get so few of them (usually no more than one or two per event)

So, on the basis that we'll only get a few we do allow it... but if we start getting more then we'll have to review the situation. And we expect to see some PH stickers on the motorbikes as an absolute minimum!!! wink

To be honest I'd be tempted to take a gamble if I was less than 300.

Thing is, will everybody who can no longer make it be conscientious enough to remove themselves from the list in advance of the day?

Not everyone does remove themselves from the list unfortunately but a high proportion do. At this stage with over a week to go the dropouts will be minimal, next week will see a higher number drop off and the Friday and Saturday before there can be a significant amount. If you don't live that far from the venue it may be worth getting up early and checking the list as some people may remove themselves very late Saturday night.

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... There are rules and penalties for no shows as long as it's enforced.

2) If you can't attend, remove your name immediately. Anyone who removes their name after 12:000pm on the Friday before an event will be classed as a no show. (because by this point you've effectively taken someone else's place as most people will have made plans for their weekend by then). This also gives people a chance to look at a relatively accurate weather forecast before deciding.

This also gives the staff the opportunity to send out passes, to those who make the list once others have removed themselves.

I'm fine. I managed to get in just over halfway passed the limit. Just thinking of those who really want to be there as it's significantly over subscribed.
