Trackday insurance is optional, but not a requirement. You will need a helmet. Don't know if they're available to hire on the day.

They have been available for hire before for around a tenner I think and they may possibly want a deposit as well but not sure.

No luck online or by calling them. Been trying the last 30mins :-(
Still down, but only the early sessions tend to sell out quick. the late ones take a few days. I hope anyhoo as I've not committed yet

In the past they've been available, but in limited supply, they recommend trying to borrow one if you can rather than rely on them. I've also talked nicely to people who are in other sessions and they've been very helpful

There appears to be room in the afternoon. £45 though.

I've also got a helmet I likely won't be using on the day (don't plan to do the track day portion). It's a Medium or Large (I'll check).

Anyone know how much the track day insurance was last year? I may be tempted if it's decent enough.

Last year approx. £60 That's good value for peace of mind. They also have a £10 trailer you home policy if you don't want to do the "Push the car outside the circuit: Ooooh what a strange place to break down!" routine with the RAC

Would be all over this in my own car but currently in a courtesy car...don't think they'd appreciate (or allow) me tracking it!

My favourite SS. Can't wait. Hopefully lucky with the weather as we have been almost every other time. Even my other half enjoys this one. They do a tasty and reasonably priced breakfast too that always goes down well.

Still can't book track time.

Did Pistonheads have a partner offering trackday insurance last year? seems overkill to buy a full trackday policy for 30 minutes on track for a single session but will be taking the Huracan on so would like some cover!

Hi everyone,

Just to let you know that we're also looking to offer heavily discounted track day insurance courtesy of Moris, just like we did last time around. More details on this will follow in due course, so keep your eyes peeled for an update.

This was posted on the first page, hope this helps.

I received a call back and I've booked onto the 10.10 intermediate session. The guy I spoke to said he is working through his list of people who tried to book over the phone and the online booking will be up and running tomorrow

On a separate note, has anyone fallen foul of the noise limits before? Its 102db drive by and 105 static. I've just fitted pse boxes and headers to my 996. It's not rediculous but, seeing as I dont have all the gubbins in my car for the switches Ive just wired them permanently on bypass.

I seem to remember a fairly rude sounding M5 last october so hopefully OK
