Not sure what the fuss is about tickets - whether they check them or not, it's right to buy one given that it's very expensive to put on these events! Frankly not checking the tickets is great as there are fewer queues.

I thought the event was terrific, loads of friendly people, great cars throughout and thanks to PH for organising the Sunday Service which allowed us all to park together.

Below is an album of all my pics from the day:

We live about 7 miles away and arrived at about 11am after the initial down pour and had to queue up for quite a while to get in.

Fantastic display of cars though. A real mixture and some incredibly rare models which I've never seen before.
Real shame about the weather though especially after Saturday had been warm and sunny.

Had I brilliant morning, glad I got there early as the cues were silly when I left at about 11am.
Brilliant display of card my boy loved it, here's a few photos including a couple of mine before I left.

A few more pics: Enjoyable day spoiled a little by the weather. I thought the marshalling was fine when I went, Hi-vizing of the highest order, directed to parking spot quickly and efficiently, though the guy on the gate didn't pay much attention to my ticket, which is fine as long as any freeloaders don't get in on the backs of people who do pay. Fish and chips went down a treat too!

Was a great day, no ticket check arriving at 9am, but happy to pay for the event. Hopefully this wont lead to people skipping in for free while others pay in future.

Marshalls fine and directed us to the correct PH area with our smily smile

Interesting to look round the house and gardens with the OH. Great selection of cars, everything from a Renault 5 GT turbo to a La Ferrari , P1 & Bugatti Chiron,

Went past you on the M40 with the blue 991 GT3 (I was in a white Z4). This looked incredible on the move thumbup

I arrived at 9am and was ushered straight through in the left hand lane, the young chap in the hi viz said the ticket box wasn't open yet so saw my PH smiley and directed me through.

I had purchased the tickets online including the palace but I'd imagine there were a number of people who would have waited to buy tickets at the gate (in case the weather was horrific for example) so they may have let a lot of people through who hadn't paid.

My first Sunday Service and it was great fun! smile The venue was very nice and the line-up of the cars on display was worth the hassle with the rain. The PH area had me walking around for quite a while, admiring such a large variety of interesting vehicles.
Until the next one!

I think that's something like £3M parked there lick
