Thanks very much, the nicer sound is thanks to a company called BCS who do great exhaust work.
The engine is a 3L Ford V6 (as found in the ST220) but built by Mountune using forged pistons, different cams and other small bits plus it has two t28 turbos bolted on.
Interesting, I didn't know they did custom work! Once again, seriously nice car, my son was well impressed too!The engine is a 3L Ford V6 (as found in the ST220) but built by Mountune using forged pistons, different cams and other small bits plus it has two t28 turbos bolted on.

Sounds like you're teaching him well! The engine is 1 of 10 built by Mountune for Noble to go into the M15 which never made production so not something I had done. Come and say hello at another PH meet
Low numbers but a really enjoyable event. Turned up at just after 9:00, and left at around 10:15, but people probably weren't interested in my MINI anyway!
Thanks to the chap with the Honda engines exige for chatting to me about your car! There was a good vibe to the event, and I have never before lusted after a fking lawnmower!

Thanks to PH and Honda for this Sunday Service, not as many attendees as most we have been to. There was a nice selection of cars and people and was definately worth a visit. The weather was kind to, we were local so not as much dedication as the guy who travelled from St Agnes glad you enjoyed the drive.
When I put my name down on the list I was 152 and thought no chance. I just happened to check last night and I was at 104 so decided to come,...by today I'm 91! I didn't get an email but managed to talk my way in.
These are popular events these days and a long way from the Virginia Water free-for-all with PetrolTed many many moons ago. As such it feels like it needs a bit more energy in managing the comms/process.
It was an enjoyable morning though and an excuse to get the car out. Mine was the grey Exige with the Honda heart-transplant. Nice to chat to a few PH'ers.

A weird one for me - had an unplanned and very late arrival, somewhere closer to 1130, and almost no-one left. A least the coffee van was still open and able to have a good stare at the Honda wares.
That is pretty standard though - even at places like Silverstone and Santa Pod where there is a little more going on and a lot more cars. They don't last much longer.Benja_Exige said:

Nice to meet you and thanks for letting me have a sit in your Exige! Awesome car. I can’t help but think I’m just too tall to ever be a Lotus owner sadly These are popular events these days and a long way from the Virginia Water free-for-all with PetrolTed many many moons ago. My first SS meet, I signed up for it the day before and thought i wouldn't gain entry but gave it a go. Turned up early 9am and parked out the way but as turn out numbers were obviously low i was asked if i wanted too i could pull my car in.
Parked up my blue Type R next to a matching black one and had a good craic. Was a great gathering. Glad i came down and will definitely make the effort to join more SS meets in future.
Car of the show for me was the Dream Automotive FK8 Type R. Bad-ass car.

I wanted to put a few miles on the engine prior to mapping later this week so was a good excuse. Metalman said:

Who's was red Noble and is it for sale?
That was my red Noble it's not for sale but if you're interested then feel free to have a good look round it at the next ss. Ibmarkprior said:

I was a bit puzzled by some of the excitement by this car, the part wrap looked odd but I’m guessing it’s all the mechanicals that got people excited. However parked next to a supercharged NSX it soon lost my interest. I’d happily rate your blue Civic above that it looked great!

.......and bumped into the previous owner of my car. Thanks PH and Honda!
Hi Jason, great to have caught up with you and to say hello to your wife as well. Car is looking awesome, you've really taken it to the next level and chuffed to bits it's still getting so much positive attention! A pic from what seems a lifetime ago, which takes me back to the glory days before the old man's barge I'm now in!:
And looking stunning at the Sunday Service under your command!:
Looking forward to the next SS, if anyone wants to have a chat then and a nosy around the Jag, please say hi (so much for being a GT, it looked tiny sandwiched between the new Type-R and Mini!!) . !:

Thanks. I'll definitely take you up on that. I've always wanted a Noble and have toyed with the idea of getting one when I finally sell my M3. Yours is a bit special though by the sounds of it? Is there a readers car thread?
If you were serious about buying one then I'd happily give you plenty of advise as to what you need to look out for and more importantly what to avoid. The owners club is fantastic, and you're better off buying a car from an enthusiast as all the niggles have usually been sorted. Jetstream motorsport in bruntingthorpe usually have nice examples for sale. grantXKR said:

Nice to see you again Grant, next time we'll have to go out for a spin! The car has been great with only minor issues like faulty fuel pump, melted fuse etc over the years so I can't complain. Gassing Station | Events & Meetings | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
