Just wanted to echo everyone's sentiment and thank PH for another great day out at Silverstone. While the weather forecast indicated a clear and dry day, Mother Nature did try to challenge it! It was great to have a nice drive over again with my friends, arriving at Silverstone to meet up with PH friends as well as meeting new ones.

It was lovely to see so much proud metal on show!

Special thanks to Ben at PH for taking me out on track for a bit

Don't worry it was my first time on track so my lines were pretty poor as well! Although I'm happy we got a mention in the video taken in the V8 Merc. The instructor claimed that we knew what we were doing which for me definitely wasn't the case haha!

That Alfa does really shift down the straights!
My best was a 1:10 and 1:09 when the track finally cleared up towards the end, but mixing with the other cars was a lot of fun!

Rubbish angle (GoPro) on top of a helmet, as main video camera was on a battery pack and that died so this is better than nothing!


Was going ~85 through Copse on quickest occasions, which was fun, need to get the entry just right!

I noticed you take a shallow line into the right hander at Becketts where the circuit cuts onto the Wellington Straight. Is this the best line to take?

I struggled with that corner all session, I've seen some people keep left during braking and take a wide line in, and others similar to yourself have straight lined the braking to take a shallow line in.

Would love some advice on how to master that corner.
