Just got an ACO club newsletter and they are saying that Dunlop is now sold out!

I knew they sell out quickly but I'm surprised it's so soon. We reserved seven seats for Dunlop for this year's race way back in July last year.
Great view but I'd be annoyed if I was in the first few rows. Restricts visibility. Horrible PA too!

I believe so, yes. I posted it in case someone saw it and thought they couldnt still get Dunlop tickets.

TL have availability too
The ACO allocate pre-determined blocks to agents who have to pay quite a large fee in addition to the standard costs for the privilege of selling the ACO issued tickets for them.
As most agencies are UK based it means that the majority of the available seats are distributed from the UK. This is good for us as we get easier access to all possible stands.

So, quite easy to turn a nose up at agencies, but they help us and pay a premium for the privilege.

Can confirm we booked tickets for Dunlop today with 1st Tickets, so potentially still availability with the agents.

Doesn’t really help. It’s easy booking with ACO at cost price... or would be better if great blocks weren’t taken by agents. Having to pay premium for them is not great and I don’t understand people doing it.

The prices would go up if the ACO did not sell blocks to agents.
They are effectively an extension to the ACO, who would have to employ more staff without them.

No different to Ticketmaster in the UK and the RFU at Twickenham. The main difference being the UK LeMans ticket partners do not charge 3-5 times face value as Ticketmaster do!

Maintaining a healthy competition between agents also keeps prices down. Compare that to the almost closed shop for the Silverstone British GP where you can pay upto £500 for a seat.

With all associated costs being taken into consideration, the ticket partners for LeMans do us a favour.

Just buy an ACO Membership and be on the ball and nearly every stand is available at discounted prices

Upto 6 GE passes are discounted with a membership, but not Grandstand seats.

You cannot buy T18/17 ACO stand seats unless you are a member, so that is really the only reason I would be tempted.
However the ACO stands are gone very quickly from the ACO website.
