Hi - this will be my first SS and I can't wait smile

Silly question - I've registered, but do I need to bring proof? Some form of print out?

Hi All,

Apologies for the delay, below is a bit more info from Goodwood about the Saturday track day schedule:

The Jackie Stewart Pavilion will be open from 07.30 and coffee machine will be up and running from around 07.45.

07.30 – Main Gates Open
07.45 – 08.30 – Driver Sign On – Sign on is the ground floor of the Jackie Stewart Pavilion
08.00 – 08.30 – Noise Testing
08.30 – 09.00 – Driver Briefing – Driver Briefing will be on ground floor of the Jackie Stewart Pavilion
09.00 – 12.00 - Track Live
12.00 – 13.00 – Lunch – Served on the First Floor of Jackie Stewart Pavilion
13.00 – 16.00 – Track Live
16.00 – 16.30 – Track Closed – Guests Depart

The Circuit is normally run in 15 minute sessions – with as many cars as noise restrictions allow, on the track at the same time – This will keep going until the lunch hour then again after lunch until 4.00pm (Unless weather conditions or day light cause the track to shut earlier)

Let me know if you have any questions!

It says it starts at 8.30 which is a too early for me - is it okay to turn up about 10? They don't lock the doors or anything? Thanks

No.

You will be fine. Although won't have such a nice parking space.

Depending on the weather you may find some cars already departing when you leave. But the site is big so you’ll find a space.

Interesting to read in the email that they start filling the paddocks first.
Best to get there later to get a better spot on the track?

Likewise, I normally do it myself but I’ve had 0 time to do it the last 3 months! So decided I’d let them have the hassle of all that grime.

I’ve just been told that the Track day was very quiet today. Less than 20 cars and no queuing at all. Wish I’d booked and gone!

I was very tempted to book but didn’t fancy the usual Goodwood 40 cars and hours of sitting in queues.

IMO If Goodwood capped the cars at 30, running 8-10 at a time I’d go to as many days as possible. 40 cars is too many.
