Last couple of days left to enter the Classic & Sports Car Show ticket competition if you're planning on joining us at the Sunday Service: https://www.pistonheads.com/news/general-pistonhea...

Hi all!

Just a little update to the calendar - we've pulled the announcement date of the Classic & Sports Car show forward a week to 22nd May.

Had a meeting with one of the guys organising and it sounds like it's going to be epic! thumbup

I'm looking to attend the C & S C Show, but I just wondered if I'm successful in signing up for the Sunday Service, do I also need to purchase a ticket for the event?

No plans to head back there this year as we have our event at Donington which will also see some track action...

I noticed Bookatrack are running a standard track day at Donington on the day of the SS, are you allowed to give us any information on how the PH aspect of the track time will work? Is it a case of 20 or 30 spaces reserved for PHers for the full day? I would quite like to do the track time if it's a PH specific thing like it was a couple of years back?

IMPORTANT UPDATE

Sadly the REVO Sunday Service will no longer be going ahead, it was a smaller event than expected and unfortunately due to our budgets tightening up, we have to have our events above a certain size to make it financially viable... Apologies to all involved and a big thanks to REVO for their time.

We will be going ahead with a Sunday Service on the same date however; we'll be having a Sunday Service first with Alcon Brakes and Clutches at their "Brakes & Breakfast" meet!

They'll be hosting factory tours, charity raffle with prizes, a technical presentation and of course there will be lots of cool stuff to look at.

More details in due course smile

It is a shame... it was a good one.

Worth noting that Revo do their own "Cars & Coffee" events if it floats your boat

You didn't answer this question. I enjoy the Silverstone track event we do as it's short sessions among like minded folk, but this is being advertised as an open pit lane full day so will probably be full of hard core track dayers all day. Not the place for my precious little baby smile

Hi Lez, the Bookatrack day at Donington is going to be broken out into sessions and run in a similar format to what we do at Silverstone. So don't worry, you can still have a short stint in the Ginetta! smile
