I normally get most cars when im out and about at events smile
Nice pictures thanks for posting the link; parked my R8 round the front but next time I'll put it round the back with the Porsche's and "less exotic" cars.

Top marks to Ginetta, fabulous hosts and a great factory tour. Me and my passengers all enjoyed it and It was very hands on, the le-mans cars were great to see up close and personal, fantastic machines.

Thanks PH!

As for the parking, i was surprised no one checked the printed PH badges in the cars on entry. We turned up about 8:45 and were surprised to see the car park so full, we did get a spot though.
Ah yeh i saw your 125d in the car park. Looked nice, such a good all rounder for a diesel!
Yeah its a decent all rounder, comfy and quiet or effortless when pushing on... OK so there's no drama or nice noise but you can fit loads of crap in the boot and my Mrs can happily drive and park it. I'm glad i went for the Valencia orange colour though thumbup

Wow, how disappointing to see people moaning about having to park next to cars that don't live up to their expectations. Completely goes against what makes the PH community special. I personally don't mind what people bring, I just love being there with similar minded people who love cars.
I have to agree with this sentiment. What I have enjoyed about the SSs I have attended is a morning out with my pride and joys (my son and my humble ST smile ) and rubbing shoulders with all manner of different cars, exotic or otherwise. Having someone direct the posh cars to the front and the st ones round the back would be a bit rubbish I think.

It was a shame I was unable to attend this SS, looks like it was a good morning.

Thanks to PH for arranging a SS up Norf today and for the very kind people of Ginetta giving tours of their house.

Have to say though that I was pretty disappointed by the lack of decent cars there which meant there really was very little to see.

I know PH have little control over who attends, but I also feel the organisation was very lacking. What exactly was the point of restricting numbers to 200 when there was ample parking on the roads nearby? If it was made clearer whether anyone 200+ could attend then maybe that may have produced a better turnout.?.?.?

Even as a registered attendee we turned up in my mates Techart 911 Turbo at 9am, only to be directed round the back. Surely it would have made more sense to have the more interesting cars that people want to see all at the front, rather than a number of vans and other pretty mundane cars. A big part of events like these is seeing other interesting cars, but as such we didn’t really bother as it was like hide and seek!

Sorry for the negatives and maybe I’m on my own on this, but if not, perhaps it’ll be useful for future events.
Poor people not allowed then yeah?

There's always a mix of cars. Half the cars in the carpark were probably the staff's anyway! Who are PH to ask them to park round the back?

Who was the knob head who did a burnout in when leaving at 11 too? Appropriate.

The mix of "nice" or "normal" cars does not bother me at all. An event can't be restricted to people with expensive/different cars as it just becomes elitist and removes half the point of PH and the eclectic mix of members.

It was awesome to have the opportunity to see inside Ginetta and get an idea of what they are up to. I was a little disappointed by the tour as I don't think the guide was especially enthusiastic or knowledgeable about all the areas so I took it more as an opportunity to have a poke around everything. The guy working in the engine shop was great though, very informative!

Once the factory tour was over there wasn't really much more to do though, having arrived before 9, so we headed off after that.

Arranging these events can't be easy at all so thanks to everyone who was involved!
