Just read that the tentacles of Mortorsport.com has grabbed Duke Video. Duke produces a video each year about Le Mans using the Radio Le Mans commentary and with JH's aversion against Motorsport.com I doubt he will allow this to happen in the future. So what happens?

Not sure that really has any impact on the future of Radio Le Mans. The future of the video may be in doubt though as they'll need to find another commentary for their video and I'd imagine Eurosport will want a lot more cash than RLM.

Hindy may have an aversion, but cash talks.

From Eve Hewitt on the Midweek Motorsports FB page.

"Right for all those who are worried about it: Duke video has not been sold to the people we don't talk about. The only thing they have sold is their archive for 1980-89. That means that none of the work we have done with Duke has been sold and none of it will appear on THAT site. And we'll continue to work with the lovely people at Duke for as long as they'll have us!"

That quote makes their view quite clear...

What is the issue between Motorsport.com and RLM?

Plagiarism, IIRC.

I thought is was due to motorsport .com ignoring a press embargo.

What ever it was motorsport.com have a lot more money than RLS.

So I guess we all know which will win, and as usual, we the fans lose out.

Firstly, the article states their ‘partnering again’ so no real change to what’s gone before?

Secondly, the Duke video deal was discussed by Midweek Motorsport Collective, including JH, and there are said to be no impacts on the stuff that RLM have an input to.
