Have a video from last year's SS @ Silverstone that looks it could have been shot on Sunday this year!

i am said chap in the Impreza with the prolapsed anus! having reviewed my own onboard footage its clear i overtook you, completely forgot my brake point and overcooked into a 90 degree slide and somehow managed to pull it back round straight! an upload would be a great watch!

Thank you Pistonheads for organising a great event, we had a right laugh on the track! And thanks to the photographer for taking some awesome snaps!
Yeah when we saw you afterwards you said you just lost yourself with no one in front-easily done!

It was my passengers gopro so he's sorting out the footage-ill post a link when its done. Apologies in advance if theres any laughter...

Likewise-it would be good to see your footage from behind us-for a good few laps you were following, then we switched places (and then you switched ends)... Is there a link anywhere?

I've got the whole thing on my dashcam; I'll go through it later & see if there's any more of you, and upload them. They're in 3 minute segments, and I haven't got any video editing software to put them all together (unless anyone can recommend some? Windows 10 btw).

A little later than intended but here's a gallery of 64 pictures from the Sunday Service meet yesterday. If anyone would like a high-res version picture of their car without the watermark then feel free to let me know! smile

i10 driver here! Sorry to anybody we held up, I tried to stay out of the way and have a bit of fun! I had planned to bring my MR2 turbo but hadn't had time to sort an ignition problem in heavy rain, so the girlfriend and I decided to use her car to make the best of it!

Better luck next time. Was great to be on the track with such a mad range of cars. I kept commenting to Steph about the 550, made me very happy to see one like that. Thanks to the tog for the many photos of us in our humble weapon, it was a hoot to drive on the limit and we'll be purchasing some photos! smile
See above, I snapped a picture of the 550 Maranello coming past you on the pit straight! biggrin

Windows movie maker should be built in, or free to download, works reasonably well.

I was behind you in the red Subaru BRZ, was a very elegant pirouette from my view laugh Hope there's no damage on the car!

Grip wise I didn't find it too bad on AD08R's, usual understeer in the places you'd expect. Good fun though! Really enjoyed this Sunday Service despite the weather. Big thanks to the PH Team, Mission Motorsport and Chris T for this epic photos biggrin

Car is fine thanks. As the rear end snapped round I was thinking 'god that Subaru is going to struggle to avoid me in these conditions' it was a welcome sight when I was at 180 degrees to see you managed to avoid me.

I'm on PS4s all round, and last year they were epic in the wet, I could take Maggotts flat and stand on the brakes for Becketts. Not this time!

If there is laughter that's fine, I'd probably of gone fuuuuuckin hell! To be honest the footage isn't that great when I'm following someone because of the standing water on track the contrast on my camera is all off cos I mounted it on the rear screen facing forwards, I'm in the middle of getting an edit together so I'll let you know on that 1. Could be a while as i don't tend to edit many videos!

Had a great morning, seems to almost be normal for it to rain at the start of the year Silverstone Sunday Service now!
I took a few photos, ended up giving up due to the weather, but here's some!

Great day today. Some lovely cars out in the car park and on track. To the Rolls driver, good or lucky catch on leaving Silverstone, not sure which. My 9 year old was quite pleased you caught the slide and didn't take us out in the C63 just in front. He still thinks you are a muppet though
A few things…
• It’s hard to take someone out when they’re 30m up the road. Which makes me wonder what the point of your post was, apart from to mention that you drive a C63…
• A slide in a Rolls is never unintentional. The DSC won’t allow anything near a slide with it switched on
• What 9 year old thinks a car sliding to be a muppet? And did the same 9 year old call you a muppet for coming off a roundabout, and going straight into the outside lane whilst overtaking nothing?
• If your 9 year old really did think the car sliding to be a muppet, then you haven’t shown them enough sliding, and you drive a C63, so what are you doing with your life if you’re not sliding around everywhere?

Kudos to the Black Clio in the 11.55 session, faster than I expected.
Thanks, it was definitely an interesting session on R888's but good fun once they had some heat in them if you avoided the wet bits! Haha I had great fun chasing the Ferrari 550 and I've got footage of the 10:45/11:55 sessions (including clio parked in wall/volvo pirouette/550 slide) that I'll get uploaded soon!

Driving standards were pretty good apart from some idiot in a white M3 in the 11:55 session who decided to go past me as I was turning in! That could have very easily ruined my day... but thanks again to those at PH for organising!

Your Honda passed me frequently, so there's should be plenty of footage!

And there was me thinking I was the only one running R888 tyres... I feel they performed pretty well too!!

I'd be interested to know what the other Minis were running.
