Did anyone get any pics of the Renault 5 turbo 2? I followed it briefly when I left and it looked mega amongst all the usual modern dross.

Was your the really slow old M3 on track? Looked very pedestrian, hardly sporty at all.

Not nice having someone insult your car for absolutely no reason is it?

How nice of you to twist the words biggrin

I know Mark had a 4 hour journey to do after SS and I'm guessing he means out of the roads after they left wink

Caught me 3 times there on video with the BMW 3 Touring biggrin, was enjoying sticking with you round the track there, though my front tyres were completely finished by the end of the session. Apologies for holding you up at Copse, was thinking you were going to pass me given the speed difference towards the end.

Erm, I think you've misunderstood me? I simply meant that when I was watching the R5 it was surrounded by run of the mill daily stuff on the roads heading away from the circuit. Apologies if that was you but no insults intended, but yes that was my pedestrian old M3. smile

And a lovely pedestrian M3 it was thumbup

Brave to be taking something so valuable on track. I was in a yellow R26 on Cup 2 tyres that were absolutely useless in the wet.

Still going faster than me in the Noble - also on Cup2 tyres smile
They were dicey with no TC or ABS.

I loved watching the the old M3 go round, I also loved the Mini too. I’d rather sit and watch the ‘standard’ cars give it some welly than the track prepared Meganes all day long.

I figure it's insured and I don't get to go out on track as often as I'd like. I was on AR-1 so probably about as much use as your Cup 2's were. I did get a bit more confident towards the end of the session, as a drier line appeared, but had a couple of 'moments' where I was grateful for the room / run off. There may have been a yellow Renault behind the first half spin, so possibly your R26? It was good fun all the same and I certainly want to go back on a dry day.

I do believe you were having a 'moment' one of the times I went by. I will probably have it on my gopro. Will try to dig some footage out later and bung it on youtube if anyones interested.

I obviously misunderstood him and thought he was talking about at the Sunday Service.

Apology offered..

In fairness I could have been a bit clearer.

Ben, what are the age restrictions on passengers for the track sessions? I can't find any regs on the MSD site. Cheers.
