Despite the fact it seems to be the same thing every year, I fully intend to drag myself over to the NEC for this again early next year. Anyone else planning to go? More importantly anyone seen any 2-for-1 offers or discount codes. £34 a ticket is getting a little rich IMO.

Has anyone been? Any decent discounts on offer especially from Demon Tweeks, etc?

I think it’s worth going if you’re specifically in the market to buy something as there are discounts that will more than make up for the expensive entry cost.

I wouldn’t pay the money just to go and look around. It’s the equivalent of the small stands at Goodwood FOS just indoors at NEC.

Just got back. Don’t bother. An entire hall smaller than last year. What was left considerable more spread out. Very little to buy and just shy of £40 to get in.

Been every year for about 8 years. Won’t be returning 😞

Obviously your call but I was very disappointed. I try really hard not to be negative about these things but I’ve come away from a show I’ve enjoyed and supported for years with a really bad taste in my mouth. Just found out there is (was) a groupon offer for tomorrow for £22 tickets. Haven’t checked as I don’t want to upset myself laugh

I went with a few friends as we'd all been given tickets as Christmas presents and enjoyed it. It was entertaining to mooch around the halls poking our noses into things, although we all thought some of the "styling" type of companies were a little out of place at motorsport show.

The Live Arena was its usual noisy smoke filled scripted nonsense, but none the worse for that. A hall filled with loud racing cars doing silly things including a Vantage on two wheels. Good brain out stuff. What's not to like there? Even young Billy Whizz popped in to say hello and do few donuts.
The only (and major) downside to it was the unwelcome appearance of a certain Youtube "Influencer" who managed to gurn his way through some truly, truly cringe inducing pieces.

(The "Filthy Fries" Citroen catering van served up chips covered in gooey nacho cheese - best NEC lunch ever.)

I went with a mate. We have been previously on trade days and public days, Not many of the big names companies in tuning where left for the public days and we where very disappointed with that. I will not be going again unless on a trade day, we where promised a revamp of Autosport We did not think so! Especially with so many companies missing on the public days. When we finally got to the map all we could hear was everyone complaining how the company they came to visit and ask questions of where companies who where not there on the public days, so it sound like we where not the only ones disappointed with the public days, can't comment on the trade days?
But it's wrong the public are the one's who buy from the traders and if they can't be there for the people who buy their products then shame on them, But well done all the others who stayed for the public.
Never Again on a public day

Been going for the last few years and must admit I noticed a severe decline in size and the number of performance sellers, which is a shame when you are wanting to buy.
With ever increasing ticket prices and ridiculous parking charges I very much doubt I will be returning.
Shame

Sad thing is, all you people that went are still handing over hard earned for a trade show, unless you are in the trade it is an utterly pointless event, or if you are buying something. They will probably do it next year again, as you all still went anyway!

It is ludicrously priced for what it is, the parking is insane, the fact you HAVE to go to a crap show, when really who cares.

About time this event was just dropped as it has become nothing more than a profit making machine for Haymarket, no one of any real value shows there anymore as the stall prices are insane, and you just get the same old rich companies there, and apparently this year some styling firms as they probably did not have anyone left to sell to and offered them discounted rates to make the show look big.

I gave up on it about 15 years ago when I found out how much they wanted to charge a tiny little club to show there, they are ruthless, greedy arses and you are paying them for nothing. It is why it is soulless empty and failing.

Bravo to you.

Chunder, you are right about the show, but Haymarket don't own the show anymore!! Its owned by Motorsport Network (US Company). We exhibited in the Engineering section this year, and it will certainly be the last. Been exhibiting at the show for 10-12 years. Shame, as the show was great 5-10 years ago. As you say, just a money making machine now........

Its generally a case of you go and think why did I bother. 5 years later you forget why you stopped going, book tickets and start the process again.

It's looking / reading like I'm glad I didn't bother then. Fair cash saving it seems.
