We are pleased to announce that a Celebration Event will take place on the weekend of 29/30 June 2019 commemorating 50 years of the Aston Martin DBS and DBSV8. The following schedule of events is being explored.

Saturday AM visit to Aston Martin Works at Newport Pagnell, birthplace of DBS/DBSV8.
Saturday PM visit to AMHT Museum at The Barn near Wallingford
Saturday evening Dinner (subject to interest)
Sunday AM/PM visit to Blenheim Palace with parking in the Great Court, the official launchplace of DBS.

We expect to have special guests associated with the Cars present on each day.

Invitations will be sent out in due course to owners of the original 6 cylinder cars and DBSV8's. If you would like to be included in this invitation as an owner of the original cars, or of 2007-12 DBS’s and new DBS Superleggera’s, please could indicate your interest in some, or all of the proposed above events by PM' ing me with your full contact details.

We expect to announce a firm agenda of events early in the new year.

We hope to see as many of you as possible over the weekend and would very much like to extend this invitation to all international owners and their friends. We would love to see you here in Spring/Summer 2019.

Please also PM me if you have an interesting Car you can display at one of the events, even if you can't make it on the day.

Good afternoon,
Just picked up on your post. I owned a Blue DBSV8 manual with cream leather Reg DLR8J from around 1979 to 1986. It was my one and only Aston which I remember with great affection and spent vast sums of £ on back in the day. Only sold it to fund a house renovation.
I would love to attend this event.

Best wishes
John

Hi John,
I was idly googling your old car reg to see if it was still around and about. We found the owner in 2006 as we were looking for a car to take us from our wedding reception in Northamptonshire to our hotel.
Beautiful car - only spent 30 minutes in it but remember it well - unfortunately I have lost track of who the owner was.
