I buy my tickets 3 or so weeks before each Goodwood event although this year the FOS has sold out for Saturday..Does the general admission ticket give access to all the viewing areas?
They are transferable.
GA is literally general access, no grandstands or access to GRRC etc areas. In 20 years I’ve never bothered with a grandstand ticket.
The members meeting is the best event.

Members' Meeting is open to Members and their guests. A Member can buy tickets for their friends... I think it is an unlimited number.Pretty sure that 'Fellows' can also buy tickets. Note GW got the names wrong.. a 'Fellow' is an entry level membership, below a 'Member' and with less privileges.

Full Members will have access to the GRRC 'tent'.

Yes, "Fellows" can buy up to 4 tickets to the Members' Meeting. Joining the fellowship costs £39. Full GRRC members can buy an unlimited number of tickets.Pretty sure that 'Fellows' can also buy tickets.

There are various packages available, from what's known as general admission (GA) to corporate hospitality packages. With GA you don't get grandstand tickets which are an optional extra.As a guide, budget a minimum of £80 per day for GA and another £70 per day if you want a grandstand seat. A lot of places actually; you can walk all round the outside (or get a tractor/trailer ride between various pick up locations), and you can also stand at the (low) fence around most of the circuit including along the outside of the start line. There are some amazing viewing locations; near the paddock area it can be several rows of people deep by the fence but travel further round and it thins out so you will almost certainly be able to lean on the fence and have a great view. My favourite is on the entry to Lavant. You can also access all of the paddock areas except the very central bit. You can see most of the central paddock area from around the outside of it anyway. No access to grandstands, pit area, GRRC members areas or any of the many hospitality areas of course but there is plenty to keep you amused!Mr.Grooler said:

Think it was just over £180If you hang about after the racing has finished the security people leave and one can gain access to the central pits too - good for taking pics when hardly anybody about and moody lighting
