People who drive in the dark/fog without any lights on because they can see out...

...despite the fact that nobody else can see them. Then you usually get met with blank looks if you give them a flash of your high beams.

This. Only with me it's the people who act like they've done nothing wrong if you give them a pip of the horn.
With me it's the holier than thou people that bang the horn

People who use terms like 'Essex White'. It could equally be 'Surrey White' or 'Oxfordshire White'. It's not a geographic phenomenon.

SUV's with personalised plates. I'm afraid I have a sweeping hatred for those that transcends all levels of rationality and common sense.

I think it's that I feel in most cases they're used as status symbols. But so many people have them. So to feel a bit individual they need a personalised plate. But most people with an SUV have one too. So by trying to show their status and individuality, they end up looking the same as just about everyone else on the road.

It just makes my toes curl with irritation.

Last night, the Audi A4 which was 20 yards up a very fast roundabout exit, stationary, with it's reversing lights on...
yikes
He was less than a mile to the next turn off where he could have turned round.
