Which Convertible for 6ft + tall men
Discussion
I'm 6'5' (big frame, hence wookie, although no goatee) and I can't fit in a last gen MX-5 or an S2000, literally my legs are pinned against the dash. I'm also not great in an Elise, I tend to be looking at the sun visors with my head close to the roof rails. I'm just about alright in a Boxster, though it's at the limit of what I'd call acceptable in the leg department.
However I've been perfectly comfortable in a Mini Cabrio and Saab 9-3 Aero (superbly comfortable for long distances and far from as bad in other departments as many people make out so don't dismiss it out of hand), fine in a Porsche 996 Cab, and just about alright in a 993 Cab ETA and a Griff 500, although it wasn't mega comfortable.
There are a few others that I'm fine in, but I doubt they'd be of much relevance.

MX5 - 6ft 2 and only just comfortable in my MK3 with the seat back against the bulkhead. I have a 6ft girlfriend and she found the passenger footwell too short (as did I when she was driving). No problem with headroom or vis.
SLK - Fine for us both, but no margin for error, with my driving the seat isn't right back, but the backrest is tilted back and just touches the rear bulkhead.
A4 Cabrio. Masses of room. Leg room, head room, whatever, no issues at all. Not enough room in the back with myself and my girlfriend hence buying the SLK, didn't seem much point in what would effectively be a 2 seater A4.

Something bigger maybe? Clarkson never complained about his Merc SL.
Or something from the land of the fat? Stang or Camaro perhaps.
I haven't tried a newer Stang, but in my 97 (and the previous 97 & 96 cars I've owned), I have the seat all the way back, and I reach the wheel and pedals comfortably with my slightly built 5ft 8 frame.Or something from the land of the fat? Stang or Camaro perhaps.
God knows how anyone tall manages in one of them.
I'm 6'6" with 35" inside leg & easily fit in my MK1 MX-5, before that I had a Mark 3 Triumph Spitfire - a bit more cramped but I still managed to drive it for 11 years. I think it depends if you are well built, either a muscle man or a fat fker will struggle. I'm neither so seem to manage ok.

My 6'4" dad was more than fine in my Alfa Spider.
The funny thing was that he drove an MG B for 20 years - even my 5'9" head sticks above the windscreen slightly in a B.
ETA 'dad'
My first car was a B, strangely enough I find them quite comfortable and my head is well below the screen! Pedals could be a bit further down the footwell, but as the wheel is so close you can recline. The funny thing was that he drove an MG B for 20 years - even my 5'9" head sticks above the windscreen slightly in a B.

Having said that I can't be that low, a few months ago I got ttted in the forehead by a stone kicked up by a car in front overtaking on some chevrons, fecking hurt that did! Girlfriend wondered what the hell was going on as I just started yelling obscenities seemingly for no reason
I'm 6ft and fit into my Focus CC with no probs. Not the most desirable of motors, but handling's similar to the hard top and the 2 litre TDCI hustles it along quite nicely. Cabin's pretty high spec as well (almost all the earlier CC3s will have auto aircon and full leather trim)
Plenty of cheap ones around now, but be very, very careful checking the waterproofing - mine needed 2 body shop visits to make it watertight, others haven't been so lucky.
