hmm, how about my Citroen ZX 16v, 1 owner 34K miles and box fresh, the best out of a handful left in the UK.

I'd love to read about this! Always liked them.

Wait, the Octavia and ZS are hatches? Have I completely misunderstood that term?
Of course, and a bloody good car too! Octavia is based on the Golf of course!

Would you class a CRX as a hot hatch?
No, no I wouldn't! The roof comes off!

Unless you mean the earlier model, suppose that's a hatch.

90's Corolla GTI. 129bhp from a 1.6 in 1991 was quite something.
Really? Honda were getting 160bhp from th 1.6 VTEC in the early 90's CRX.
So was toyota. The 4age engine came in many guises the top of the range been the blacktop. It was a 1.6 with 160bhp. The earlier 4ages made 121 bhp but were about in 1984 (i think) in the corolla gt and mk1 mr2.

What about the Sirion rallye or Toyota starlet turbo.

What's unusual about it exactly?
The fact you see maybe one for every 30 Civic Type Rs? Rare enough to turn your head, certainly.

And yet there's at least 2 people on this thread with one. I'd rather read about something a bit more obscure; most of my thoughts have already been mentioned, but Maestro Turbo, Uno Turbo, Alfa 145 Cloverleaf, mk1/2 Scirocco, that sort of thing.

You see them every day. Good car but certainly not rare or unusual.

I'd suggest a Charade gtti, starlet gt turbo or punto gt.

As an ex GTti/GTxx owner, these days you'd be better off with a Starlet, purely from a parts and mods availability point of view.

When I sold my last Charade 3.5 years ago parts were starting to get hard to get, these days even more so, especially since Daihatsu are pulling out of the UK!

Fiat Stilo Abarth 2.4 Selespeed. Don't think there's many of them about, and they're freakin' quick! A friend of a friend has one, but sadly, his is a nacker.
