I know the 0-60 time is totally missing the point...but 5.8 seems slow for a car with >200bhp/tonne.
Really? The MINI GP I used to have was around the 200bhp/tonne and its 0-60 time was around 6.3.
Anyway its immaterial 0 -100 MPH are the real figure to be interested in. Poor 0 -60 times could just be down to gear change ratios.

I've currently got just over 200bhp per tonne and I know the car can dip into the low 5's if I get the grip - else I just smoke...
I love this concept and the engine is still pretty standard so more or less bullet proof and with the added benefit that there are a host of proven induction and exhaust options whcih could be used with standard cams to score over 200bhp reliably. Or just implant the cosworth 2.3 250bhp lump or one of the more extreme units or go to Mountune etc for similar enhancements...
I can see the value of these headed North of £30K due to the limited availability.. I'm a littler tired of my GT car setup and will happily consider owning one of these and the appeal of owning a light RWD car is immense (I already have a fettled S2 106 @850kg).
Wonder how they deal with speed bumps lol...

Darn editor's prerogative...
Dammit! I was going to ask you how it compared to the Caterham.Darn editor's prerogative...
I note some interesting optional extras - OK air-con may not be for everyone but "power upgrade" sure is as are harnesses and "Race Tuning" which I expect means a set-up session? Though I expect I'd be setting it up with potholes in mind - my Grp N tarmac Bilsteins on the 106 are magic on B roads....
Anyone have details of the 'power upgrade' option etc? More info on brake compounds (and whether it's a 2 piece disc or an MX5 disc) and clutch and tyres (other than Michelin - are they PS2?). All interesting stuff :-)

You misspelled 'what' in the 2nd paragrarf.
Lovely car, put a proper engine in it (K20A would do or tune the Duratec) and I'll have one. When they've come down in price, by about £20K.
So 200bhp/tonne is too expensive at £30k? Lovely car, put a proper engine in it (K20A would do or tune the Duratec) and I'll have one. When they've come down in price, by about £20K.
I actually think it's pretty good value.
