Without going off topic and running a book on how many other criminals this hole grassed up for such a wrist slap of a sentence I have half a mind to have the Judge or Magistrates arrested for Wasting Police Time it says...

Norfolk Police said:
In 2019, following another investigation by officers working closely with colleagues in the Metropolitan Police and Surrey Police forces, sixteen stolen motor vehicles were recovered after they had been professionally altered and registered to appear legitimate.

The majority of the vehicles included Land Rovers, Range Rovers, and Ford Transit vans displaying false licence plates, fraudulent identifying markers and documentation,
I wonder where they got the new identities from?

It certainly says something about how wrong justice has become when the sentence for killing someone is less than that for stealing vehicles.

I don’t think we can be in any doubt as to how this will be repaired. Reassuringly, for any future buyer, it is HPI clear.

How, why are you allowed to import a piece of virtual scrap, unless it has an illegal use?

Not ideal but then no different to reshelling it due to rot or as it says a Cat S issue.

Would this be one? Unrecorded accident damaged XJR, the roof seems to have crumpled.

Found while idly browsing motorbikes...

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-R1150GS-2001-15-228...

edit: All the same seller, and it looks like he's used his real name as his username. Is there any possible legitimate reason for selling a frame with the V5C and showing the registration number?

Very happy to be corrected but is this not appealing to a kkt car builder? You get an engine, gearbox, wheels, electrics etc and an easier time with VOSA?

It’s quite common.

For a while I was considering restoring my ZZR 1100. For those not in the know if you drop it it is very easy to put a dent on the frame and write it off when the bars make contact. (which mine had)

Undamaged frames with a V5 are very commonly sold on eBay. Some have plates shown and some don’t.

Obviously it is open to misuse but this guy seems legit.

Fair enough, and he does look like a legitimate and long-established seller, but he must know what he's enabling. I understand your point about ally frames on bikes like the ZZR being easily damaged too, but these BMW frames are mostly steel tubing I think which isn't as exposed or vulnerable.

I suspect the simplest answer is the most correct one.

He’s broken a bike and just trying to get rid of as much as he can.

If anyone buys it fair enough. If not it’ll end up in the skip.biggrin
