Ok, from what I have just been told.

The car is a USA car and has been sent over here for work to be done by the chap in the photo, as was the lambo. The owner of the car says all 6 road going versions were sent to the USA and from there only one, this one, was re registered for the road, making it the only official road going version today.

This guy also built the lambo and is currently building the maz in the photo, he tells me when everyOne else gets stuck they call him ! I works all over the world and is off to LA in two weeks to do some work. He has some mad stuff, he is not Spanish by the way, he is from Belgium !

Okay! To get the Chrystals you have to fill a bucket with water, walk across a plank and use the water to fill another bucket. Without getting any water on the floor. You'll have sixty seconds from the moment I close the door!

It's completey beyond me why you would decide to ruin the sound of a glorious V12 with all that plumbing. Pop on a tubi and leave well alone!

I just checked on how many left, no xj220s but I'm not sure how good there database is. I'm sure it would be good to try and actually find out for sure if there is one. I did just read an article that backed up the owners claim but photos may tell a different storey ! Can you try and did it out ?

I too have seen this one at the Ring a few years back. The exhausts on that Lambo are huge! I don't understand why the owner would bother shipping it all the way over to Spain when there is Underground Racing in the US who have a pretty good rep for turbo Lambos.
Also don't blame the iPhone for your dodgy spelling as it does not make the mistakes you are making tongue out

If you have this miracle worker on your doorstep, why are you considering shipping your RR to the USA for work?

Let this guy do something stupid with it

A rarer find would be a post from the OP that makes sense the 1st time you read it?

Good point, underground racing have done some amazing things to lambo's yes.
Perhaps the owner is friends with the belgium baldy?.

Hi there,

If you mean this one: -

Then sorry but this is not an XJ220S, its a standard XJ220 with an 'S' front bumper.

There is at least one road going XJ220S in the UK and thats the Yellow one: -

The others are mainly overseas (in the USA I think) and were affectionately known as the 'Opal Fruit' cars

Not sure if any of the above may have been wrapped, resprayed etc as I cannot seem to find a record of exactly how many XJ220S's were built.

Certainly interested to find out more about the car that the OP has discovered.

Regards

Tim
I've seen the yellow one around Stoke a couple of times.

Thought so, it's clearly day time in those photos and he's not slumped in a chair asleep.

Hi there,

This car is not an XJ220S, it is a repainted XJ220.

The 'S' has completely different bodywork at the back end: -

As far as I know the Yellow XJ220S is still in the UK and still road registered.

Tim
