I was sorting out a spare set of rims for my newest steed the mighty Nissian micra S which lead me to discover it has some dubious tyres fitted

But by far my favourite is the Barum Brilliantis which is heading towards the dustbin

So what other comedy tyre names have you seen other then the Barum Brilliantis

The p6000 doesn't count as its not even slightly funny

I can't remember the actual name but we had a set of cheap tyres on a forklift that at a glance read as 'flying banana'

My MX-5 has a "Monza" rear. I guarantee driving round Monza, in the wet, on them would result in a fiery death. Awful.

Really? I ask as I was looking at Goodride snow tyres and one review says they're great, the otehr says I'll die if I drive on them.

Back on topic, I was once sold an Astra GSI Turbo and one of the selling points was the fact it had four new Sunew tyres...

I mean... really...?

Roadstone Dark Horse.

I had a car with a pair of those on one end, and a pair of Wanli on the other.

I'm sure there are some really silly tyre names like 'Ling Long Super Rain Hero Horses', though.

GT radials are Indian I think, which clearly makes them superior to that Chinese rubbish! Joking apart, I have GT radial winter tyres are they are pretty good!

marangoni tyres - I always read it as margarini tyres. Doesn't suggest high coefficients of friction!
