330d MSport Cab Stolen!
Parked up Sunday night at approx 1am, a few doors before my house. Locked up and went in. Came out this morning to no car! I am gutted - only had it a since Aug. The keys have always been in the house or on my person so never in a position of compromise. Reported it and hoping it'll get recovered but I guess there is a very slim chance of that. What a great Christmas!

If you're in the London/Essex area or anywhere for that matter and happen to see it by any chance...although something tells me it's on a ship sailing to a new home or parked in a back street garage waiting to be stipped. Damn them!

Yours, gutted!

Checked with BMW and no keys ordered. I'm sure the seriously criminal minded probably have many ways around it but it leaves me astounded as to how it was taken?

Really sorry to hear this mate. I live in Southend but am always driving around Essex and I work in London so I'll keep my eyes peeled. Any chance they could have simply towed it away? I heard of an Evo a little while back, some guys turned up one night with a flatbed truck and put it on the back and simply drove off. Is there any CCTV near to you which you could get your hands on? Proper gutted for you mate, hope they catch the theiving scrotes!

Cheers mate. The little hope I had of recovery is fading fast given it's been a couple of days now and not a word. I am just so gutted. I searched months for this car and when I found it didnt even hesitate and done the deal. On top of it all, I had just filled up the tank (£80) before I parked up. Only CCTV is on the main road which they could have driven to but I doubt the council is interested in my sob story!?

Not good being your pride and joy...however, would you want her back?

God only knows how much she has been thrashed by the scum bags, at least any previous owners would have cared for her!

my condolences too pal. I think if it was towed then being rear-wheel drive they would have required skates for the rear wheels. After that I suppose it would be possible but at 1am towing a car would have caused a lot of commotion surely and someone on the street would have noticed.

Did you purchase the car recently?, is there any chance a previous owner/vendor could have been involved (assuming someone must have used an old/copied key)

police will obtain the cctv if available

you can too; freedom of information act, if the council incompetents kick up a fuss, let me know.

Just up the road from you and I have had loads of hassle with late plate german metal in east London, over the years.

No tracker, I guess?

Getting a car on skates, or dragging on to a flat bed, pretty high risk in Leyton I'd say; key job, I reckon

Got letter from police saying investigation closed as "it's highly unlikely that further significant evidence could readily be available". Let's just hope I don't screwed by the insurance company with the value. Will lose (obviously) my NCB and given the claim amount next premium will be triple the amount. It's highly likely that my next investment will be that of a bus pass!

MERRY fkING CHRISTMAS ALL!

That's bad news, my dads BMW was taken at the beginning of the
Month from Orpington and found parked in Erith on Xmas eve, thanks to somebody reporting it as being a stolen car (guess the reg on here helped) we had all but written it off as long gone and were expecting the insurance payout in the first week of January...occasionally they do get found

Surely there's a good chance it'll turn up when the thieves realise they've stolen a diesel 'vert?

I'm in Leyton, East London. Most people I've spoken to have said the same thing - tilbury then off to a new destination.
