No, you're on the money. A Sport pack (distinct from the Sport model) E39 should have clear lenses. Yours is a Sport model, which is why it has clears. 2000MY pre-facelift non-Sports also would have had them.
There is no M Sport spec for E39 though, but you could get 528i Sports from late 1999 (V reg) onwards, until the facelifted and M54 engined (525i/530i Sport) cars superseded them in Sep 2000 for the 2001 model year.
So is this 528 dog van suspicious? There is no M Sport spec for E39 though, but you could get 528i Sports from late 1999 (V reg) onwards, until the facelifted and M54 engined (525i/530i Sport) cars superseded them in Sep 2000 for the 2001 model year.

What is that doing in 'BEST' smoker barges? It's completely borked! Rust everywhere, damage to front and rear, engine leaking oil (Though that probably is just the gasket) and a gearbox that goes into limp home mode. It's got the DSC/ABS lights on as well so there is a fault there, too.Once somebody buys it and fixes it up perhaps it can star in this thread but as it stands is an example of the sort of car this thread isnt about.
This is 'BEST' smoker barges not 'Cheapest' smoker barges.

Fair enough. I guess the needs some work part was lost. As you were. Once somebody buys it and fixes it up perhaps it can star in this thread but as it stands is an example of the sort of car this thread isnt about.

Vol 3 already.
Not really a barge, but what do the beards make of this curio, sited within stone's throw of my house?

Dodgier than Ed Milliband's spelling? Or just a well looked-after one? Something appears to smell of kippers about it but I really want to believe that it's a goodun, because it's bloody awesome - perfect spec and properly rare.

I'm liking it, amazing what some well taken (possible post processed) photos are worth in an advert.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1988-BMW-325I-X-BLACK-E3...

Looking at barges, but I keep straying into the 5k+ territory and eyeing up a 7-series.
This wouldn't be a particularly noteworthy barge (albeit not an upsettingly bad one either), but for the lengths to which the owner will go in order to finance his new house.

This must surely indicate the car's a keeper, if he's willing to give away his brown wings before putting the car up for sale...?
