On another note, how much does it cost to take a plate off and put on retention? Cost £80 to put it on there 2 weeks ago! Grrrr.
£80 transfer fee again, plus £25 for a year's retention. Annoying if you've only just transferred the plate.bmthnick1981 said:

Absolutely no offence taken mate I often throw about low offers on ebay, you never know, one time you could get lucky. bmthnick1981 said:

Jonny: PM me how much you bid. Another fifty and I reckon he'll sell.
you'll have to do better than £50 more than Jonny's derisory offer! If genuinely interested PM me and we'll see what we can do. ETA Just been corresponding with a chap in Norfolk re. his 330 and coming back to it, the 325 looks very good value indeed.

2002 Lexus GS 4.3 Sport 4dr Auto Saloon
Hello everyone, thank you for viewing my Father' s GS430 Sport. This car has been exceptionally well kept over the years and is quite simply as good as it looks. The colour is Dark Pearlescent Blue with contrasting Andorra Grey leather interior. The car has covered only 51,288 miles and has a full service history and has been cared for regardless of cost. The last service was carried out by a genuine Porsche specialist here in Edinburgh literally just last week (8th of March 2012). The car is pristine and is always stored in the garage. It has electric and heated front seats, an electric steering wheel, an excellent audio system, electric glass sunroof and so much more. With it being the Sport model it comes with exterior body styling, a boot spoiler and the original 18" alloy wheels of which they have just been fully refurbished (inside and out) with powder-coating and have excellent tires all round. The road tax expires in May 2012 and the Mot expires towards the end of October 2012. The car drives absolutely faultless and is very peaceful to be in. Previous lady owner had the car for nearly eight years and prior to that it was a dealership demonstrator. There are no scuffs, dings, dents or anything else of the sort. The door panels are perfectly straight throughout. Anyone who would be willing to travel a great distance will not be disappointed. Only being offered for sale due to pending operation with long term recovery. £4,995

A fair bit if your name is Veronica Oompa Ogundekewe.
Plates like that are easy(*) sells - it's not what it says, it's the lack of letters which gives it value.(*) as easy as ANY plate is to sell
V300 is up at £15k with Reg Transfers. Wonder what an actual dealer would be prepared to pay for that - £4k?

Has anyone actually confirmed whether the plate remains with the car?

I like the look of this - shame for me its not a manual.

I like the colour of the seats - it's a nice hue, unlike the grey, and it's only on the leather not the plastic so is tasteful.I like the look of this - shame for me its not a manual.

The box looks like DSP; it has the High OBC in the dash, and the top right button appears to have two words on it, which should be 'Audio' and 'DSP'. No middle button on the right hand side because it doesn't have comms. Compare:
i really hate to do this but can i ask the collective to put a value on a car for me, its a lexus sportcross is300 02/52 with 134,000 miles full history and good condition, i have done a lot of reading to find the faults that regulary come with this model but its the mileage that is making it difficult for me to value it

I first read and assumed that you were looking for a value on your own car but upon going to AT to see what others are going for it appears that you are asking about the value of a car on there. Its the cheapest 300 Sportcross on AT so whatever someone will pay. If I was looking, I'd be looking to see how close I could get some of the more expensive ones to that price - not a fan of the modified look and ad is sparse on detail.
