RE: Driven: Nissan Juke-R
Discussion
Am sorry, but as for looks it has fallen from the top of the ugly tree and taken a severe beating by every branch on the way down!
Good bit of marketing for juke and Nissan fans. But am sure after a day or two in garage, memories of a drunken rendevous would surface.
Now the admirable GTR has an ugly sister/brother to take shine of it.

Needs to be in production and sub 50k. It'd be awesome!
My money would be on twice that if it ever gets built at all. But it may be a market tester for a realistically hot Juke, let's say 300 bhp? Would anyone buy one of those at a reasonable price?

It won't.

The Juke is basically a Golf/Focus competitor, right? In which case they're basically going to be competing with the Golf R, Focus RS, etc. if they do that. Sounds reasonable but nowhere near as interesting. But it may be a market tester for a realistically hot Juke, let's say 300 bhp? Would anyone buy one of those at a reasonable price?

"Look what we can do! Now go and buy a Golf R."
It's got a load of petrolheads talking about the Juke as a possible performance car. If a hot-but-feasible Juke is then released, said petrolheads may not snort with such unanimous derison.
(and yes, I'd prefer the GTR-based one too )
