Heavier and still manages it in 3.7 on a stock engine. What is not to like? It is a limited production car for fun, who cares about the weight, really.
Weight in the corners is not going to help the cause. Offers nothing over a GTR, except for different looks. Be suprised if it's any more agile due to the weight, positioning (split?) and what could be high CoG than a GTR too. Pointless, but would still love a go.

please see the above link, it makes the Juke R look like, well a joke, what else can i say?

The Fensport Corolla would eat it for brekkie! 200MPH in a 5 door hatch! You cant argue with that.. and without a fast and furious bodykit!!!
That was never really under debate was it. A few things though, the fensport corolla was running more power and was a good 600kg lighter (at race spec). It was also very heavily tuned, reliability would be a serious issue - probably why it doesn't exist anymore.

Certainly doesn't make the Juke-R look a joke, they're entirely different creations.

They have shoe-horned the best bits from an absolutely brilliant supercar in there, resulting in what is essentially a wonderfully wierd creation. Considering it's basically standard GTR running gear, i would imagine that it is also very reliable. No mods have been done to the engine from what I can tell - I imagine if they did have a stab at tuning it, it would create for an entirely different animal. However, that's not really the point now is it.

Was there. It won, by a big margin.
I drove it too at the Dubai Autodrome. Crazy fast.

hmmm, still looks crap !

std juke without doubt the worse looking new car for ages, this one isnt much better

Fail !

would prefer a GTR
point missed here, its not about the looks is it?
I would say it's very much part of it, If I was going to plan a 1 off car involving sacrificing a genuinely capable car (GTR) and that much work I would start with something that wasnt going to look like a bucket of offal when I had finished

otherwise what is the point ?? loads of man hours and work to produce something inferior then your powertrain donor ?

PR stunt - pass
actual end product - fail frown

but then std Nissan Juke - epic fail biggrin - so it was never going to be my cup of vodka wink

I love that they made it and it looks awesome, but how the hell is it 150kg heavier, especially when they saved about 30kg by going to bucket seats from the heavy stock electric ones....
A juke doesnt have electric seats.

Unless he means heated things?

Don't forget this has got a massive rollcage in it that the GTR doesn't have.

Also I don't think Japan would have been too impressed if a bunch of nutters from England had built a hatchback that was quicker than their baby! hehe

That B Class weighs 1620kg, pretty hefty, oh and an estimated 0-60 of 5.2secs, surely they could have done better than that with the V8!

Oh, back on topic, I too don't like the look of the standard Juke but love the look of this one!

It's utterly mental, completely stupid & totally un-necessary (not) in these days of austerity but, hell, i want one.

The Juke is a god-awful looking thing but who cares with what it has under the bonnet.

Thank the lord that there are still engineers out their who want some fun - reminds me of what was done with the original XJ220 on a saturday morning in Coventry all those years ago.

Genius.

More please!!!!
