Davina McCall lives across the road from my office, so quite often see her in her Q7 (been tailgated through the 30 zone here quite a few times by her too!) Her husband runs some sort of activity holiday company and uses an ancient Dodge Ram to promote it, with a plate ending 12AM.

Also see Jeff Beck (of Hi-Ho Silver Lining fame) around here a lot in various pieces of of luridly-painted Americana. Oh and Roger Daltrey is pretty local and I've seen him in a Jag of some sort.

Recently I've seen Hugh Grant in his Ferrari F12, Petra Ecclestone driving her range rover (P3tra) in convoy with James Stunt (Rolls S7unt), other not so recent spots have included Jordan in her Pink Range Rover...!

I once tried to keep up with Nick Mason in his F40 when on my way to a job interview in Guildford. I followed him round the one way system and we then ended up on the A31 and unsurprisingly the F40 left my Astra GTE for dead smile.

Arrived at Silverstone last Thursday and had to stop at a roundabout to let Eddie Jordon, Suzie Perry and David Coulthard come round in 3 Peel P50's preceded by a camera car. That's surely worth a prize of some sort?

I often see a car near me with the registraction; '7AV' - seems to change cars fairly often and is currently on a ghastly matt-black RR Ghost.

I'm not a football fan, but can only guess deduce that it's an Aston Villa player?

I was walking by the Ritz one day and Michael Winner cruised by driving his vintage Rolls Royce. Sadly he’s dead now.

I saw Her Majesty in the back of an Omega estate on the Cromwell Road in London a good few years ago. Range Rover front and Rear. She was sat on the back seat, tartan travel rug across her knee and a corgi next to her.
She didn't wave.

A fair few years ago, myself and friends in a car saw Neil Ruddock in a Bentley or Roller, being a fat useless footballer, we let him know it as we passed.

A few miles down the motorway I had a blow out, guess who drove past inviting me for coffee.

Back in 1995 I was making my way home after the London - Brighton Mini Run in my tatty old '67 Mk1 Mini 850, at a set of traffic lights just outside Brighton John Cooper pulled up alongside in his own Cooper, we tooted and waved at each other and off he went like the clappers.

Twenty years earlier I was in Hammersmith on a family visit and saw John Thaw and Dennis Waterman being driven round the Broadway in the Sweeney Mk1 Consul GT, festooned with scaffolding and camera gear.

I like to think this happened just yesterday. The Queen, being driven round in a knackered £500 Omega estate.

Leaving Earls Court Motor show circa 1988 somewhere in Kensington or Chelsea - stuck in traffic two lanes one way.

Car next to us was a long Jag XJ6 and I spotted Terry Venables at the helm.......cue a bit of "Terry! Terry!" Got the thumbs up and that big cheeky smile from him before we started moving......

Possibly drew level with Mike Brewer from WD on the A38/A5 island (before the underpass was built near Lichfield) circa 2010. Cant even remember was the car was now something black and tall. Possibly a Range Rover/Disco or an old Talbot Matra Rancho.

I expect I did that awful semi shocked pointy finger OMG its Mr Bean look causing him to grin an look away. getmecoat
