Mason's car has been registered "250 GTO" for donkeys years, so I don't think that's him.
Well it was nearly 16 years ago, I know its him as this was on the way home and he had been at Le Mans all weekend with the car so we saw him and the car a few times, incidentally he was there again the next year and it was still on the orginal plate.m3jappa said:
For me it only goes as far as seeing Katie Price in her pink range rover. Even then it was on the other side of the road at elephant and castle.
Pretty lame really
That's what I was thinking, 35 years on this planet & that's my most famous one too.Pretty lame really
My defence is that as a massive petrol head I don't take much notice of who's driving when I see a nice motor, just the car
I've had only one pretty poor one, saw Elliott Tittensor (Shameless) in his Z3 at a local petrol station a few years ago. Had a nice chat about his motor.
That's all I got, unless you count the Police stopping our lane of traffic on a quiet back road to let Prince Charles through, in a Jag if I remember correctly.

Seen quite a few Man City players in their cars.
Mario Balotelli in a white Maserati GT.
Patrick Viera in a grey Bentley Continental.
Micah Richards in a matte black Bentley Continental.
Joe Hart in a matte black Mercedes CL.
Roberto Mancini in a black Range Rover.
And also Reece Wabara (MCFC reserve player) in a matte grey BMW X6.

Paul Daniels - Driving an old shogun with a Paul Daniels liveried spare wheel cover on the M40
JK - Stopped for a cig break next to a Purple Dodge Charger in Oxfordshire. Out for a Sunday blast
Chris Evans - Pulled up at a garage in the 250 California. Having shared my admiration for the car he said "go and have a sit in it". There were a few admirers around it so couldn't bring myself to open the door and get in. Very nice man and very very nice car.

These are all many years ago;
Max Bigraves climbing out of a brown Rolls Royce Silver Shadow in Wateringbury, number plate was MAX46.
Blackie Lawless from W.A.S.P. (a bit of an obscure one, I know, but I was a big fan at the time and still am) - red Vauxhall Cavalier (if you know who this is, I know how unlikely that seems too!) in Sutton Valence, I'm guessing on his way to Eagle E-Type who used to be based near there, where he had his three E-Types fettled.
Eric Richard (Sargeant Bob Cryer in The Bill) Ferrari Mondial - Maidstone.
Rory McGrath - In the back of a people carrier on the M1, looking very bored.
My dad once pulled up at lights next to Lady Diana in london, she was driving her black Escort RS Turbo.

I bought Godfrey Eaton's book The Complete Ferrari way back in 1986. The cover car? The GTO registered "250 GTO" owned by Nick Mason. I rest my case your honour.Bob Geldof & Paula Yates in an XR2 parked up in Crewkerne square with a map open on the roof - late 80's from vague memory.
Peter Gabriel in a big F off 7 series BMW in Reading services fuel station - 2002 ish.
A few years back, Craig Charles wafted past in an old brown Roller while I was walking my dog with the missus/old dear down a country lane a few miles outside Chard.
