Sometime in the late 1980's I was crossing the A26 near the traffic lights in Crowborough, when I hear a nice sounding coupe leave the filling station about 400 yds down the hill. So I waited as it pootled up to the lights and it was a Dino driven by Roger Daltrey, with passenger (no idea who), but his light was green and away he went..
He owns a trout farm just outside of Crowborough, saw him in the local DIY store looking at Black & Decker Workmates once. Also saw Ross Kemp driving his 996 around there as he apparently lives nearby too.
I’ve seen Princess Anne in her Range Rover, always driving herself, on various occasions when I worked in security at the Hilton Hotel on Park Lane, and the only other ‘famous’ person I’ve seen driving is that chef with the spikey hair that used to be on telly, was it Gary Rhodes? Driving his Ferrari up and down a mates road in Chelsfield.

I guided Tiff Needell out of a tight parking space at a hotel in Buckingham years ago. I think he was in a Chrysler Voyager.

Also seen Chris Eubank in a Hummer, and JK in a Ferrari of sorts. Both in London years ago.

Plenty of footballers around Cheshire but they don't count.
I saw Tiff in an E60 M5 in a pub on the outskirts of Winchester , when the E60 M5 came out.

In 2013 with the family we were travelling (in our Red Alfa 159 Lusso) down to Frejus in the South of France.

Pulling into the services at Newport Pagnall I drew alongside a rather nice looking black Audi S5. As they were about to pull out the wife said ‘THAT’S CARL FOGARTY’. I got out of the car and as he pulled out I gave him a wave and thumbs up. I got the same back with a big smile. His wife (who had clearly seen this all before) just looked down.

Carl has always been one of my biking heroes from cycling to Oulton Park with my mates as a teenager watching him as a Club Racer to seeing him on the world stage.

Years later we were at a charity evening where Carl was the main guest. My wife won the competition and went on stage with Carl.

I was passing Planet Hollywood when it first opened and Chris Eubank pulled up outside in his American truck.
Probably not my vehicle of choice to take into the West End.

I once saw Adrian Chiles in a merc C Class behind me at the traffic lights.
I also used to Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin in a Mercedes 500 picking his son up from school (we were at the same school)

Robert Plant used to frequent our local pub (The Lion in Clifton-on-Teme) when I was in my teens and he always arrived in a huge white Merc saloon with a horrible 'Zender' like body kit and big (for the time) wheels.
His dog used to jump around inside and set the alarm off.
Robert also used to openly flirt with the young waitresses in front of his missus. Legend.
Found out years later, due to meeting in said pub, he and my hard drinking farmer grandad were also firm friends.

Unconnected but I once saw Rusty Lee (ITV TVAM chef?) in her Lotus Excel in Stourport-on-Severn pulling out of a carpet shop I think..

Many times saw Charles in his DB6 Volante when doing his flying training at RAF Cranwell in 1971. He parked between the main hangars where parking was banned.....

In 1970 I was walking out of the main entrance to the Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh. Didn't look to my right as I crossed the road and a car suddenly stopped beside me. Ran across the road then looked back at the driver. Princess Anne gave me a nice smile. The car wasn't her Reliant Scimitar, just some official black one.

Murray Walker cut me up in his BMW coming back from Brands in the mid 80s. He did wave to say sorry.

Wasn’t looking where I was when I crossed the road in Ripley in the mid 90s. Eric Clapton stopped in his 456 and waved at me as if to say go ahead so I did.

Saw James May driving a McLaren soft top into a petrol station via the exit.

Derek Bell let me out of the car park at Brands with a smile and a wave.

Clarkson tried to aggressively cut in front of me in a Vectra V6 back in the 90s, in Knightsbridge. When I didn't allow him to he lowered the window and swore at me. The chap behind me didn't let him in either.

Chris Martin (ex Derby County) was next to me at traffic lights on the A52 heading towards the city centre, and Tom Huddlestone (again Derby County) was in front of me travelling through Nottingham, top end of Derby Road where it meets the hill down to the city centre.

I'm sure I've read he lives in a village Notts way, so I reckon he was heading home.

Cyrus Christie (ex Derby, again), near the training ground.

We don't get much luck round this way, it seems.

Darcy Bussell has a house in the next village to us in the Dordogne. Often see her in either her RR Phantom or a rather knackered '02 plate Mercedes W210 estate

They've moved out of town now but used to bump into Sarah Swift (Beany) most days in either her Disco 3 or Honda Civic doing the school run

Regularly see Jeffry Archer in his Mini as I cycle past his apartment block most days

Chuka Umunna backed his Ford Ka into my wife's RS6 a number of years ago. I *may* have called him a pointless, cack-handed tw*t

Darcy Bussell has a RR Phantom? That's quite cool....

I overtook Errol Brown (Hot Chocolate) when I was on my motorbike near Brooklands, he was in an elderly Rolls. I am pretty sure that's the only famous person I've seen in a car. I have been in a car with Clarkson a few times - but I'm not sure that counts.

Years ago now but Paul Daniels, his son Martin (?) and 'the lovely Debbie McGee' in his Rolls Royce complete with plate MAG 1C near the cruise terminals at Southampton

Just when the people in question were becoming well known, I was working in a B&Q somewhere when my mate came back from the van and said 'Christ, you should see this girl sat in a Ferrari out in the car park'. Like only a teenage lad can, I did an entirely natural stroll past. And there was a youthful and very lovely Denise van Outen sat with her miniskirted legs out of the car door in the sun. Walking back towards the car was a slightly scruffy little bloke carrying a bag of barbeque charcoal, who I knew was JK, although my mate had never heard of him (or DvO). His predictable response was what the hell does she see in him
