What job? Spraying EGR3 in or cleaning your EGR manually?

If the latter then the answer is yes if you are able, but shouldn't be an 'must do' at 25k unless the bulk of your driving is short and local.

As said elsewhere, not sure how it can clean your EGR Valve when the flow enters the valve from the exhaust side.

For manual cleaning we always use Nitromors. Very effective smile

I had an X Type diesel and removed the EGR valve to find about a 1/2" of crap lining it, took about an hour to clean it out including removal/refitting.
I used an inlet cleaner spray but I had to drench the thing to get it all off, can't see it being much use when there is a lot of air flow involved. You may as well use any proprietary solvent and clean it by hand. The inlet manifold was also well and truly caked!
