It's perfect imo, a real stunner except for the 'Lyon' part and the small matter of the price.

Just makes me think of a Carlton Carrera. Centre console is pretty awful too.
That's harsh! I think Carlton would still be around if the Carrera had really looked anything like that but I kinda get what you're saying(ish) - you're definitely showing your age smile Probably closer to a VW SP2...tongue out

I like it. I really do. I'm not sure about some of the details like the lights and the wheels but I still like it.

BUT for 3/5ths of the price, I'd rather have this which contains a lot of the original E-type:

I think that would set you back a bit more than 3/5 - more like 5/5!
Beautiful car though
I did read somewhere that it was ~£300K. Can't recall now so can't prove it.

Best looking car I've seen for a very long time. Stunning! Now where did I leave that 1/2 mill
Yes, by a long shot.

Modern car companies need to look to the past and refresh old designs. Some of the best automotive art & design is in our past.

Are they renderings or is that actually real
I'm wondering why, if this can pass modern crash legislation, why other manufacturers haven't done anything at all similar...
Or does this not have to satisfy such stuff?

Looks great, but not sure about the headlights, they look a bit squinty to me. Wire wheels are very cool.

I'd still rather have the original.
Mine is for sale and the genuine article, ad on P/H classifieds

It is stunning that would stop traffic if it was seen on the road. Comne on Jaguar buy the rights to the car and build it

That's a lot of money for having to explain those alloys to everyone you meet...
No need to explain those beauties mate. Proper wire wheelage.
Riggers changed something in his original text for sure, because it now says "to explain those wheels"...

Which brings me to the conclusion that I might be on too many American forums, as I was thinking more along the lines of having to explain over and over again which car you're driving...

Nothing wrong with the wheels (alloys) on this car, guess it's a mental image of an E-Type having them, that makes it suit this car as well.
