I had a 1996 one. Looked at as many as I could find before buying, problem is with these cars they are so rare and finding a good one is tough. A seller who knows he has a good one will hold out for top money usually, so yes a good investment (for a sports car).

Personally I would avoid the Auto and the Targa. A manual 3.0 or (ideally) 3.2 facelifted model is the one to get, with no mods and a good history. Also colour is important for resale - silver, black, grey, blue, even red is good. Yellow or bronze not so good.

I've been lucky and owned some decent cars; Boxster S, C32 AMG, M3 SMG, RX7 TT, S2000, Scoobys; but owning and driving the NSX is an experience that will live with you forever. The first time you hear that V6 right behind you is unforgettable.

Pub fact: when Honda brought in the 6 speed box there wasn't enough room for the linkage, so 5th->6th is servo operated. You'd have never known (and I only learnt this after selling my 3.2).

NSX remains best car I've ever owned and only one I've ever missed.
oooh, pub-ammo, i like it!
I also wouldnt have known that, and i've done a fair few miles in NSX's ( one was an auto though :-( )

Love the NSX. Even though it's slightly 'sensible shoes', it's near the top of my 'Really want one' list. Also know that i fit comfortably which helps!

V Car register, thats why
Still have always wanted one since mates dad had a red one new in 1992, even if that was an auto
Good colour, good miles, good spec.
V registered, very very bad on this sort of car in my opinion.
Could have been on fire or underwater at some point in its life!

Heh, you wait I'll be totally wrong. It's one of those weird facts I keep hanging around in the back of my head. I read it somewhere once.

Now i wonder how many people will google this little snippet then??
" Stirling Moss was asked to help develop the cars road manners rather than Senna because of his age. Moss was offered a substantial fee, and one of the first production cars which would be labeled as NSX SM editions.
He turned it down, claiming Honda were rude suggesting he was old.
This is why Moss never drives Honda engined cars in any event "

The wheels are very 90's JDM style, as is the car, hence why i like them.

Mmmm - apparently Honda's make great retirement cars! Had a silver 3.0 manual on a K plate in G R Grandison's showroom in Musselburgh for about a year. Every time I passed I thought "where can I get the £14995 necessary?" Never did and the car disappeared one day.

According to the typo in the add your wish is granted: "3x3 point seat belts in the rear"! That's better packaging than a 2+2 Evora!

Nice report. I've had one for eight years and I bet it's cost me less than £5,000 to own on maintenance and consumables.

Nah, I don't believe this. This is his Honda moped:

I Googled it though, just to check.

Now then, the question is is that actually a Honda moped, or a 3 wheeled moped built with Honda engines, but that has no direct legal connection to Honda Motor Corporation ??

Saw my first one yesterday outside Hastings towards rye (red K reg) and it looked/sounded awesome. A real look at me car without being Ferrari flashy, if you get me?

You might also notice that the mileage has had a bit of a haircut.
