Guys, check out Matt's review blog - he does a lot of reviews on these. Techmoan. The 'two smart cams for your car' review (currently 2nd one down) is pretty good and cheap for HD quality.
Good link - Cheers

No. When someone mentioned "PH" on one of his YT vid comments he didn't have a clue what it was. I did suggest he get himself on here though as the "what car DVR?" topics come up on a regular basis. I have also alerted him to this thread although I suspect he knows already from the spike in traffic.

Looks rather good!

I like the idea of a separate unit with 2 small cameras that you can position and hide the wires, routing them to the glovebox or something. My main problem with dashcams is the faff every time you get into/out of the car. I have used various smartphone problems and just don't bother to mount the phone & connect it up on short journeys. I need something wired really. Option to buy extra small cameras would be great for those of us with more than one car!

I just bought a veho muvi micro SD with sports pack for £40 all in, the quality is great considering it really is minute, I'm really pleased with it and it will literally go anywhere in the car with a bit of imagination!

Hi, i'm new here.
this might be a stupid question, but is there a dash cam on the market that will film ahead of you & behind at the same time?
i'm in the N/W U.K. & recently it's common in these parts for Asians crashing into people to get insurance claims, 3 of my friends have had this done to them in the last 6 months.
this is NOT a racist slur, it's a fact of life in the N/W.

Take care, though, there are some that look the same, but aren't as good.

That chap reviews several others.

If you look in the other long thread about car dvrs you will see the dual camera that I and several others have bought - about 40 quid. I'm very happy with it but get it from the right seller!

Do you have a link to your source of supply? Crap copies are a bit of a worry.

There seem to be a few threads on the subject. Which one do you mean and which camera did you buy?
